I got refused from the salon across the street and came into the store! Nancy helped me out right away! Got me settled in! Asked me if I need anything. She didn’t feel like my request was too small and made me feel comfortable. I really recommend coming here and supporting this salon. They have a healthy environment & would def come back here again. Ask for Nancy or any of the other employees they all give great customer service!

It was my first visit to J Nails. I was on a trip with my sister. We wanted to treat ourselves to mani/pedis before heading home the next day. Although closed, they welcomed us and gave us the best mani/pedis. The staff was very attentive and did superb work! I will be back the next time I pass through New Braunfels!

These guys have definitely got a couple of New faithful customers. They were so friendly and accommodating. They did beautiful work and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We highly recommend it.

Booked an appointment for a facial two weeks in advance, received email confirmation for the appointment. However when I showed up for my appointment, they made me wait for 12 minutes, then they claimed they didn’t see my booking on their system, and that the facial technician wasn’t working that day. They offered no compensation whatsoever. Horrible & disappointing, will never go back!

I’ve gone twice and the first time I felt like my nails were done well and taken care of. This last visit I came in and not even a day later 2 of my cuticles have infections

Arrived and no one was in the facility, after 10 minutes someone comes out and tells me they are taking the people that showed up right then since they got off the phone with them.

This place is awesome! They are all very kind and tedious with their work and pay special attention to detail. Their prices are also better than most other places in town. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely the best nail salon I've been to in New Braunfels. Very courteous staff and looking out for the best interest of children instead of recommending what cost the most instead they recommended what's safer for the children. Huge compared to other nail salons. Thank you for your courtesy and your availability to stay open late for us

Specialties: Specializing in nails and lashes. We chose to get two full sets of nails done for a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old sisters
Cleanliness: The place was very clean and inviting
Stylist: Kevin was fantastic at taking care of the girls nails today with ombre dipped acrylic full sets on two girls

This is the first time I’ve been here since they switch owners and I truly enjoyed my pedicure and experience.
Another review said “Their customer service is excellent, they let me know they truly cared that I had a quality experience..”. I agree entirely with that statement and that is the reason I’ll be back! Their color selection is fabulous, there’s the typical brands/colors you see elsewhere plus a variety of other colors (I’ve never seen before & loved) with various finishes like translucent, matte, opaque, etc.
If you care about the aesthetics of the salon this probably isn’t your jam but if you want great service, a tasty bev, and a really good color selection this Mom & Pop shop is for you!

This place is great. I had a pedicure and manicure with Nancy. She expertly took care of an ingrown nail. Free refreshments. An overall fantastic experience. I hardly ever leave reviews but I needed to make an exception in this case.

My friend, her two children, and I got pedicures here today. We called ahead to make an appointment for four people and to make sure they had two pedicure chairs for kids, which they confirmed they did but when we walked in they only had one and it didn’t seem to be working. The salon itself did not seem to be well kept, we almost left to find another salon but the employee was already preparing our pedicure chairs and we didn’t want to be rude. There were also only two employees working despite them knowing they would have at least four customers at the time we came in. It took them 2.5 hours to complete all four pedicures due to the lack of staff (there were two other customers in the salon in addition to my group). The little girls got normal polish and my friend and I got shellac, but they charged us for four shellac pedicures. They also included a design on two of the pedicures without asking and then tried to charge us for it. I will not be coming to J Nail again, and I suggest you find another salon as well.

Customer service by Nancy was great. The nails on the other hand.. I got in the car and cried on the way home lmao. I even brought a reference photo with me, I’m genuinely so unhappy with my nails. Nothing is even remotely similar. I left the nail salon with dried nail polish all over my fingers. Plus, one of the dudes that works there is kind of mean and aggressive. He wouldn’t even give me two seconds to respond to anything he asked me and immediately said ok the answer is no. And he coughed on my hands. So thanks I guess ?♀️
