“Why does H‑E‑B curbside need a handicap parking space ?. They literally bring your online shopping to the car.
There is no one in the car and no permit or plates for handicapped people.
I also saw numerous customers parking at curbside and shopping in store. Entitlement has it’s perks I suppose.”
“Gruene General Store is like a blast from the past. It reminds me of the General store in F.C, WI when I was a young child. I could have stayed for a couple of hours in the store. There is so much to see and they have ice cream!!! If you are in Gruene, Texas, you must visit this store!”
“Love the flowers here! Always a new and different type of creation to be drawn to. Could improve on not having dying hydrangeas in their arrangements but other than that, they are wonderful. Love all the potted plants to buy from outside. The ones that say they are Texas Native, rarely are. Try not to be disappointed with that. Like any HEB, it has too many angry kids working next to truly happy kids. Parking lot seems like an after thought. Great location until you leave. I actually drive across town to the plus bc of the parking here. But all HEB s are pretty nice in town.”
“Place is exactly what I’ve been looking for! My go-to for taco night meats and supplies. Delicious seasoned meats and vast assortments of steaks. Fresh produce and homemade tortillas. They also have a fresh bakery with all your favorite pan dulce.”
“Excellent Service, Lovely Cashiers and Friendly too, helped me when i couldnt find something. The pork is really good and the food too(Recommended) Awesome store and perfect in general would recommend!”

“This is a shout-out to Mary in the deli department at Arlan's. She makes, without a doubt, the best fried chicken in the city, better than any chain and as good as I've had anywhere!I asked Mary her secret and she mentioned two things. First, she filters the oil every three batches. That keeps burnt pieces from building up and creating an acrid flavor in the oil. She says management has tried to stop her from doing this but she sticks to her tried and true frequency. It works! So guys, let her do it her way!Second, Mary says she does it with love. "I believe you can taste the love in my chicken." And you can.It doesn't hurt that the pieces are huge, way bigger than you'd get at KFC or Church's. And if you call ahead, Mary will fry you up a fresh batch. Even if it sits an hour or so, I've never found it to be dried out. Always perfect!Mary is there Monday through Friday, daytime.”

“I love this H-E-B with the freshly cooked BBQ making it 5 Pluses!!!I love to Hill Country design of the building and these new HEBs just have an upscale feeling to them. The produce section is absolutely amazing and so is the bakery.Everytime I go into an HEB I just feel so lucky and blessed that we have such wonderful businesses and so much growth here in Central Texas. I love my H-E-B!”
“I work near this location so I'm here often. Every time iv come in its clean and organized nothing like the rest of them in town. Not sure if its the manager but who ever keeps up with this location does a damn good job.”
“This is a decent size Dollar General located near Canyon Lake. It has 18 doors of refrigerated space and 16 doors of freezer space. Four of those doors are dedicated for cold beer, but no craft beer. You will also find gardening supplies, cosmetics, grocery items, home decor, snacks, household items, and pretty much anything that you would need for the home or outdoors.”
“This is the only fuel that I will have in my car. Never had any problem in my fuel system. For years and years the only fuel that I have purchased. I never mixed other fuel in the gas tank. I make sure I have enough to get there to refuel.”

“This location, the store has come a long way. Fir a quick place to get "i forgot to get it at a large store,Walmart/HEB)" this place comes in handy, life saver in a way. I'm impressed with their inventory for emergency purposes/needs. The employees try their best to keep the store clean and stocked. Gave the store a 5 star because they are there for the community, the neighborhood store. I hope management hire some more employees and I hope they get paid well. For emergency needs, I recommend this store and you don't have to dress up pretty! Highly recommend for your emergency needs.”
“This DG is close to home which is really convenient for us and the cashier I usually see is so friendly. When I was heavily pregnant he would help me load things into my car when I needed help. Only down-side is that sometimes the line can get kinda long, but that's with any DG. They have a self-checkout that is supposedly going to be up & running soon which should help! Another odd thing to add is that they check 20 dollar bills (and up) very often, but I believe that is being enforced by management.”
“I think more help might be needed restocking and organizing. Thr staff is always running crazy. They are very helpful and courteous even though they must multi-task to keep things running properly”
“This is my favorite Walmart New Braunfels. I find the store clean and many items you can’t get at other grocery stores. Friendly employees. Runs out of stock as some things go fast. Prices are good on a lot of items. Some not so. Produce and bakery department is fresh and well kept.”

“Only place I was able to get a large creamer from Christmas morning when I totally forgot to the day before staff is always super friendly at this location and they have a lady that makes the best stuff for fresh breakfast and lunch tacos and fresh flour tortillas and they take credit cards I dunno what the other review was saying maybe their system was down that day. The rewards program actually is nice too I always assume they're a scam but I like theirs.”

“Clean, good selection, extremely busy. The parking lot is not user friendly. Beware of the 4 way stop bordering the nearby shopping center. Traffic often spills over to nearby areas. The drive thru for the pharmacy is not user friendly either, meaning if you turn there by accident, you might get stuck waiting on the slow motion line to move out of there. A family member did that once while looking for a parking space. What a nightmare. The pharmacy area has pros and cons. It's a gamble on getting assistance from them that is kind and courteous. I worked retail, i get it. Oh and until covid is completely over, if you shop in store, wear a mask. When doctors in the media finally say: there are no more covid variants, they don't exist! Then you can let your guard down. There's a lot of mask fatigue, we get it. But protect yourself and family with a simple mask. As soon as you get outside, or in the car, remove it. No big deal.”

In particular, Customer Service Rep Jose happily assisted us immediately, lifting a heavy cabinet onto a cart and taking it to the front for us. Also, we stopped at the deli counter and was greeted by an awesome Deli Clerk and his new assistant (sorry, I didn't get their names) who chatted with us and made us feel so welcomed to New Braunfels. We will definitely be shopping there again!”

“Left on break to pick up my prescription that was supposed to be ready this morning. I called to make sure it was ready since i had 30 minutes on break. They said the date was entered wrong but the prescription was not ready, however they were able to fix it and have it ready by the time I got there. Made it back to work with 1 minute to spair. Thank you for getting that fixed and ready on short notice i appreciate you for rushing it so I was not late getting back to work!”
