Caution safety hazard !Goodwill 1075 S Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 a big size rat ran across the aisle and eventually crawling up my right foot brushing up against me as I felt the long tall. The rat ran in a round hole at the end capped located at the bottom to the gondola shelves in the children's toys area. I advised two Goodwill employees one said, "Thank you for telling me I'll have to make a report." The other Goodwill employee said, "It comes up to me at the registers."

Found some cute home buys, two decor pillows, laundry basket and a cap. It was all organized and easily to find isles. Bathroom was clean for the most part. Only issue was parking, we had to wait for someone to leave before parking. Staff was nice!

My husband and I are out of town working and found a loveseat at a reasonable price. We asked them to hold until the next day as we purchased alot of large items that night. The weather has been very bad the past week and we have been in communication with the store everyday to ask for a clear day to pick up. We called today because the weather finally cleared up to find out that they resold the couch we purchased. Vivian the manager on duty was very unprofessional and rude while we were trying to figure out what had happened. I really liked this goodwill and we have probably spent over 800 dollars the past month here. VIVIAN you should talk to people nicer. I don't want credit with this store all I want is our money back and never have to deal with this manager again.. after we resolve this issue we wont go to any other goodwill stores. Very disappointed, when all these items are donated in the first place.

This review is for the store, not the donation center, although the store is directly next-door, This is one of the smaller Goodwill's I have seen. It also has one of the smallest parking lots which is troublesome to get in and out of when customer traffic is high. Ironically, it's also one of the better merchandised ones I've seen. The majority of the floor is given over to clothing, which is quite common. Thankfully, this is not one of the stores where they store all of the knickknacks and glassware on top of the clothing, but have them displayed on separate aisles. If you want to buy a lamp or any electrical item, they do have an area to plug in that appliance to see if it works. They do have three dressing rooms and two bathrooms. They have a decent collection of CDs, DVDs, books, and even some quality furniture. Judging by the inventory, this place seems to get better quality donated items which is probably why this store is usually quite busy. Check out the photos.

Goodwill is no longer an organization to help people. Last year the made over 5 BILLION dollars, the people at this time in history are professional thieves, stealing from our government and providing subpar services to the communities. The CEO of goodwill made half a million dollars last year! WoW!!

I went to donate four huge bags of clothes. When I arrived there were five cars ahead of me. I thought … “ this is going to take awhile!” I was in & out of the donation car line within THREE minutes! The man working out there was very friendly & sure works at a fast paced!! I’ll be going back to the donation line tomorrow to donate kids toys after the great experience I had today. Thank you : )

I used to love going to Goodwill. You never know what you are going to find. I used to be able to find great deals on many items including electronics & clothing. Lately, however, the way they price items is outrageous. Goodwill needs to remember these items are used and they were donated. They received these items at no cost. I have found where you can buy brand new items from Walmart, Academy, Bass Pro Shops, and Amazon cheaper than used items at Goodwill. When I have brought this up to the store manager, they don't care and simply say "that's the price. We're not going to change it." I recently saw a 55" TV for $399. Really? Better to go to Best Buy and buy the TV brand new.

Liars! To sell me a laptop, they said I could return it for a refund. The REAL policy is, gift cards only. They intentionally left that part out, and now Im stuck with a pile of junk. They know what they are doing here, beware! Dont buy anything expensive.

Someone investigate the manager! She pocketed my cash for a laptop, which she promised was fully refundable in 7 days. I go back 2 days later to find she tricked me on purpose! Refunds are in gift cards only, which just furthers the scheme. These manager are embezzling! At the expense of the customers.

It was busy, but they could be careful with used CDs. Some had no CDs at all in cases

Nice clean Goodwill store. I was looking for boys pants and I came up short. I did find several books of interest to 3-6th grade boys. I was hoping to find coats.... selection of kids coats was very small.

I have found some great deals there such as Alex Marie rhinestone silver low heels and Jessica Simpson blush satin platform heels as well as bedding and small glass bowls for my kitty's food for 1.99. Yes, the New Braunfels store is a bit dirty, I agree. And I reallllllly don't like it that Goodwill receives free items yet charges 5.99 for a T shirt when it should be 2.99 or 3.99 at most. Plus, the CEO salary is train robbery! I think he makes 1 million/year now. Shame on JAMES GIBBONS, GOODWILL CEO! From a 2022 article: "What is the Goodwill CEO's salary? Goodwill industries recently filed a Form 990 and revealed that CEO James Gibbons earned $598,300 in 2017. This figure includes $118,927 in additional compensation. Regardless of how you slice it, Gibbons' compensation is high."UPDATE/REPLY TO OWNER: Regardless, the CEO's compensation is outrageously high. The cost of the clothing you get for free has gone up and up and up over the decades and, compared to other thrift stores, the pricing is the highest out there. People go to thrift stores because they have limited income. I hear the CUSTOMERS, everytime I go into Goodwill, complaining about the pricing. It's sad. They say they now have to buy less, i.e., do without because of the prices. This is info from the street. Perhaps relay it to your Board Of Directors. Who is the current CEO and what is their yearly salary? If it's anywhere near Gibbons, that is a travesty. Shame!

Smaller than some stores, but very clean, well-stocked with clear pricing. Stellar staff at this location.
