This location, the store has come a long way. Fir a quick place to get "i forgot to get it at a large store,Walmart/HEB)" this place comes in handy, life saver in a way. I'm impressed with their inventory for emergency purposes/needs. The employees try their best to keep the store clean and stocked. Gave the store a 5 star because they are there for the community, the neighborhood store. I hope management hire some more employees and I hope they get paid well. For emergency needs, I recommend this store and you don't have to dress up pretty! Highly recommend for your emergency needs.

Is always an experience in here. Today as I am doing their job as self-checkout somebody comes in wanting a box that was behind the register, and they were practically bothered that I was doing self checkout and that they have to wait for me to the point that they started trying to move the box behind me in a narrow space, and also me with a big belly because I'm pregnant. I had to tell them that they needed to wait for me to finish because I had a little girl and also was pregnant,this was me after I already paid and I was just getting the bags.

This DG on state HWY 46 in New Braunfels #9904 is a great location for this area. I feel for the employees, they don't deserve to have to work in the environment that they are working in right now at this location. They are having to work in 100 degrees in side the store , they are having to use big shop fans to try and keep it cool enough for them to be able to keep the store stock for the customers. But customers don't deserve to have to shop in that environment either. The store has to close down two to three times a week because it gets to hot in the store and even the coolers want work right they keep breaking down. It look like the DM would get the AC unit replace at this location, because the AC here keeps going out, this has been going gone for about 6 months now. I know this company makes a enough money to replace this AC unit. The customers and employees don't deserve these conditions that this store is having to deal with. I work right now the street from this store and shop at this store quite often. I feel for the employees, this company is known to not care much for their employees anyway, but for them to have to work in this environment at this location is just not RIGHT! It just show you that the DM for this location doesn't care much for the employees here or they would have had it fixed, 6 months with no AC and now that it is 100% plus outside. Its time to get it fixed!! These employees here are great for working in this environment and still giving great customer service. From a concern customer feeling bad for the Employees!!

Hidden in the neighborhood of new Braunfels this place is here for your needs. If you need groceries or just a couple of items. This dollar general is fully stocked and customer is great. There is plenty of parking. Stop in for when you need goods.

Well I waiting 10 minutes for someone to come and checked me out there was 6 people behind me waiting also so I went and ask the lady to come and help us! And she yelled for the other person which was in the bathroom! Then he finally came and then she came up told us 4 people called off and that we need to have patience and wait! And she didn’t say it nicely! Well, I hate to tell her my husband worked for her and she is manager and there is NEVER more then 2 people in that store! And she was very rude! I want her fired!!

Been coming here for a few years now since it is close for those unexpected need to go grab something quick times however the past 2 years now the stocking has been horrible the shelves are constantly bare and rarely have the item we are looking for even if the website or app says the item is in stock. Yesterday (12/31/22) I made an order for pick up the next day (1/1/23) from 12-1pm. They said the items were in stock and they had multiple of each item. They never processed my order and after the window expired they just canceled the order shortly after 1pm. I will give them 3 stars still as the staff are always nice but there is still much to be desired for this store to get more stars.

Not a good Dollar General. Relatively close to our area so we stop by for late night snacks, etc. Every chocolate item we’ve purchased from here has been melted into a solid block. The mini Reese’s in stock there have been the same melted ones for months. Their AC went out a few months ago and it seems like they just left the bad stock out. Inventory also isn’t great to begin with. Store is clean, though.

The worst DG around. It’s the closest one to our house, so we have to go here often. There’s nothing else close to us. For the past 2 years they’ve never had the shelves stocked, you can’t walk down the aisle because it’s a mess, and the employees are RUDE. You’ll wait at the counter while they hang out and talk. If you ask where something is (that says in stock online) they promptly tell you no without even looking at you.

I mean it's a dollar general. Relatively clean and cheap at the same while providing name brands.
