Been looking to change vets and Chisolm/Dr Dawson were recommended by friends. Misty and Dr Dawson were super thorough with their explanations related to my dog's care and I left feeling that switching to Chisolm would be a great decision for us and our 3 dogs.

DO NOT bring your loved pets here. My mom’s kitten was just brought here to get fixed, he was maybe 4 months old.. normal procedure. Shouldn’t even require heavy sedation usually for boy cats. Very healthy male kitten. They called a while later saying he magically somehow died. Because of a reaction to a medication.. sounds to me like either an overdose or negligence after giving a med to check on the patient, or something crazy. I’ve never heard of a healthy kitten dying from a simple neuter. Absolutely ridiculous.

We've gone to Chisholm for almost a decade now for our ginormous dogs and cats. The ability to have a house call when our elderly 130lb Bear couldn't get in the car is incredible. They obviously love the animals when they come in and always give the best care.

I appreciate everything the staff does for my baby! Thank you for all you do. I moved to San Antonio early last year and planned to find a Vet closer, but I’d rather travel to New Braunfels knowing that my dog with be well taken care of.

We love taking our dogs to Chisholm trail! They take great care of them every time and they are super friendly there. Highly recommend. Sorry about the accidental initial review. Haha

Absolutely love Dr Spencer, she recommends the best care possible for her patients and shows she truly cares. Highly recommend seeing her as your veterinarian. She takes such good care of my “Leche” kitty, she took her time with him since he doesn’t like going to the vet and can be a bit spicy, but makes sure he gets the care he needs and deserves.

They've been talking care of our fur babies since 2008. We had to say goodbye to our cat recently. It was extremely emotional and the staff was very caring and supportive.

I just want to thank this vet clinic for taking care of our senior Buddy. From the time we walked in and was greeted with smiles and kindness to the vet tech being so sweet with our concerns to Dr Spencer who was so welcoming and made us feel like we are in wonderful hands. She cared so much for our boy and was so professional and gave us so much knowledge. This will be our forever veterinary clinic! Thank you for y’all’s patience with Buddy and making us feel at ease! I am very happy with the care and attention my poodle Dolly received at CTVC. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when I called to schedule a new patient appointment that there was an appointment available the next day. The front desk personnel and vet techs were very friendly, professional, and caring. Dr Hurley is an excellent vet. She provided superb care, communication and was upfront with all costs before treatment was provided. They support our military by giving a 10% discount to active duty and veterans, which I appreciate as I'm a veteran. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

They took great care and passion for my cat Lil Bit. I was new to the clinic and they were wonderful. I know that they took great care of Lil bit the last few moments of her life. I will return with my dog. The veterinarian was great. She handled this sad situation with heart.
