Tire was fixed but the Service sucks. Attitude of employees and owner is ridiculous. If you want repeat costumers show better Service to the people paying your bills. And slow. I use to repair tires in half the time

If you can safely make it to any other and I mean ANYYYYY other tire shop I would 110% go to a different shop. I got a full set of tires that costed me just about $1000. I noticed after a little bit that some the lugnuts on the car are now loose and they are all stripped. Went back in and told the man there what had happened. He had a bad attitude the whole time. Alls I wanted the quality of work that’s worth a grand as that’s what I paid. He tried to tell me that it’s not him and someone
Was trying to steal me wheels. He said he would reimburse me for the money for new lugs as his shop stripped them all. We go to get the lugnuts. It took ten minutes. Once we got back he was closing the doors to the shop an hour early and made us sit outside for 20 minutes before he finally opened the door to reimburse us the money for the lugs and then was yelling at us the whole time we were in there we have been loyal customers to checkpoint tires but after this we’ll never return not even so they can fill the flat tire. Moral of the story please for your own sanity go somewhere else!

Great local tire shop in Canyon Lake! The workers are friendly and quick. Prices are fair as well. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely awesome! I called later in the afternoon, they said come on in! We indeed had a nail and a worn tire, they got me changed with a new tire, checked my others and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes! I was so impressed! Will definitely be a repeat customer!

I noticed I had a flat tire, thankfully, when driving very near Checkpoint Tire, so I drove in. Wow! Not only did they put on my spare tire at no charge, but they also recommended places where I could find a replacement tire to match the others on my car. They don't have access to those tires. Such very nice people. I will bring them all my business in the future!

Update: Just went to Discount to get tires put on like I asked Checkpoint to do, with new good tires in the front, (but Checkpoint didn’t do). Turns out Checkpoint obviously stripped a lug bolt. And there is no lug nut on it, due to stripped threads. Checkpoint is terrible.
Been going there for almost eight years. Never again. Time after time - seems to be one issue or another. (Half the time). Most recently, bought T wo new tires on my one year old car, they stole my chrome caps (for the valve stems), the tire pressures were newly out of spec even on tires they didn’t touch, and the new tires were put on the wrong axle (we clearly agreed the new ones would go on the front and they ended up on the back. And remain there now). Last time, only a few months back, two new tires on my truck, $840 bucks, they stole my chrome caps. New skid steer tires, full set, they stole my valve caps. I’ve bought full sets of trailer tires and a set for a Lexus. Road hazard warranties aren’t available there, so I’ve repeatedly replaced tires with good tread with punctures close to the sidewall. (Not repairable). From now on, I’m sticking with Costco and Discount. I don’t trust the hired help at Checkpoint to do the right thing or do things the right way. My car calls for 36 psi on all four tires. It’s right on the door. They patch a tire and the patched tire leaves their garage with 32 psi and all the rest are 36. It’s typical Canyon Lake quality.

Every time my tire pressure sensor comes on I pop in here and they are always so nice and air my tires right up. They have free air/tire checks. Also they can fix a minor flat for $15.
