Bryd Automotive recently completed some work on my Lexus. I was very appreciative that they got me in immediately and fixed my vehicle in a short amount of time. I was really impressed with the way they treated me. James and Mark both were great with letting me know what was wrong with my vehicle and keeping me updated with the process of getting the parts and completing the job. Steve was very nice, too. He drove me all the way back home, over twenty miles, and offered to come back and pick me up! I was given a quote on the first day and I asked them to follow through with fixing my vehicle. When James called to let me know I could come pick up my car, he told me there were several other issues and he had fixed them, too. When I got to his shop and went to pay, I noticed the price was the original quote he had given me. He didn't charge me for the extra things he did! I will definitely be using them for any other issues I might have, and I can safely recommend them to family and friends. Thank you Bryd Automotive, you guys are awesome!!!

Mr. James Byrd, you and your staff are amazing! James and Mark went above and beyond to fix my 3500 Chevy Dually to get us back home to Houston before storm. Not only did they diagnose my truck (ECU/BCM) computer issues, but
also went to the extent of staying late to get it back to us quickly. If you ever find yourself in Canyon Lake or New Braunfels area with automobile issues, use them! REAL MECHANICS AND HONEST MEN! NOT PARTS CHANGERS. Thanks men, from the Rodriguez Family.

Hands down the best and Honest place to take your vehicle. James worked on my personal Limo and did an amazing job. He is extremely Honest and humble. I don't trust anyone working on my limo but Cadillac dealer, being that James worked many years for GMC I trusted him to do some repairs and did an amazing job on a last minute trip that needed to be done before going to Houston. He call me during the trip to make sure the car was ?. I'm very thankful that he took the time to call and check on us. The car ran perfectly up there and back. THANKS JAMES!

James and Mark are honest, awesome guys! I had some transmission issues on my truck and took it to 2 other places and they all said I need new transmission, but James fixed it without replacing it at a fraction of the cost quoted by the other places. If you need a reliable mechanic who you can trust, this is the place.

I recently had the transmission on my truck go out on me. I was visiting from out of town and was fortunate enough to be able to make it to my daughters house before it completely failed. My son-in-law recommend Byrd Automotive so I had my truck hauled to them. They ordered my new transmission late afternoon on Friday and in less than a week I had my truck back driving like new. Great folks and Great service. They even followed up with me when I got back to the Houston area. I highly recommend their services.

Transmission failure at 116,500 miles with my 2016 Chev suburban. Discussed with James on replacement. He recommended a Jasper transmission instead of a GM transmission. GM has had problems with their 6 speed transmission. He has had 25 years working with GM vehicles. He was able to discuss pros and cons on transmission replacement. I selected the Jasper. Although it cost more, is was a great selection. Warranty is great. James is a very down to earth individual with great auto experience. I plan to use James on all my vehicles repairs. Couldn't recommend Byrd Automotive more! They helped me diagnose some issues with my truck and provided very reasonable quotes for repairs. James was also able to help my brother out with his truck after a tire shop did some damages during a tire mount. We called Byrd because they were the only ones open and James was able to squeeze him in after hours, solved the issue, and even offered my brother a military discount! Very knowledgeable mechanics with an honest, no-nonsense business model & great customer service on top of that. Will definitely be our go-to shop from now on!

Exceptional repair shop in New Braunfels. The team at Byrd is professional and very experienced automotive repair experts. I took my truck to their shop with a significant repair needed. They were welcoming and helped me make good decisions throughout the repair process. They kept me updated on parts and repair staus regularly. The rates are appropriate and the work is guaranteed. I am very upset with myself that I have not gone to James sooner. He is incredibly talented in his craft. A very smart and knowledgeable man. This is the first time I’ve ever trusted someone to tell me the truth, and not just try to get money out of me. His passion is contagious, you really feel that he cares, and he does. I really was impressed by his demeanor, how he remains so calm. I’m in a pretty bad place with my car, and I was overly excited and just upset when I arrived. We all get that way when something goes wrong with our car. It’s a huge hassle not to have a car. And he calmed me down. I waited for my car to be fixed because I live an hour away, and he was very welcoming and offered me to work in his waiting room. He has Wi-Fi which is nice. I will definitely come to James with all my car repairs moving forward.
