“We had a unique project to mount an old Sensenich Bros. Model 98AA-66 wooden propeller to our wall. We went to the local big box store and didn’t get any help or find anything that would work.Our next stop was McCoy’s on the 337 loop. Immediately when we walked in, the assistant manager made eye contact and asked what he could help us with. After explaining our project and that we were looking for conduit, he told us to follow him and led us to an employee working the paint area. We told her the project and she hollered to another employee a bit away about a paper towel holder. After explaining our ideas to that employee, I believe Rebecca, took us to the employee break room to show what she created. It was exactly the material we were looking for.She led us to the area within the store, helped us select the right sizes and pieces, then led us to the hardware area for the right lag bolts to mount the pieces into studs. Next, she took us to the paint aisle and we selected a flat black to paint the conduit.This project turned out terrific, was a great experience, and fantastic memory for my partner and I, but it all started with the outstanding customer service we always receive at this store. While I didn’t get anyone’s name, they all deserve my gratitude!”
