Car we got was ugly (we dubbed it the Green Goblin), but once you got past the outside look of it...hybrid was a nice feature, but it didn't cool all the way to the back (mini van), and it was dirty...gross stuff in the drink holders, stain on the back seat.

If you are looking for a total lack of ownership...look no further. I called a week in advance to confirm they would have my truck and auto trailer and was told the trailer was broke, but someone was coming to fix it on Monday. 4 hours before I was scheduled to pick up the truck and trailer on Wednesday, I get a call telling me the trailer is broke, can't be fixed, and they don't have one for me. When I asked why they waited until 4 hours before to let me know, they said "they got busy on Monday".The only solution they gave me was to drive to the north side of Austin to pick one up as it was the only one available, which I had to do because I was moving to Ohio the next day and they left me no other options, but to drive to Austin during rush hour to pick up the trailer.I wish that was the end of the story, but it wasn't. The truck they gave broke down and left me stranded for 6 hours while Budget Roadside sent one tow truck to confirm the truck was dead and then had to send another truck to actually tow me to my destination. It then took 13 phone calls to Budget to get their equipment towed from my driveway, get my reservations closed out, and to get a partial refund.I wanted to give someone other than U-Haul my business for a change, but it was a huge mistake I will never make again.

Easy inn & out. Had to wait 3 days for them to get some cars in, but the little car we got was a nice car.

Car was dirty and when I turned it in 4 days ahead of schedule, they did not refund the difference. They kept all of what I prepaid.

Christine and Frank are great! They literally saved the day!I made a reservation days ahead of time at Enterprise. I showed up to pick up my rental car and was told they had no cars at all. I was there for over 2hrs and they still didn't have a vehicle for me. My husband was calling around while I waited. Budget got him all set up over the phone. It took only 10 minutes to get my rental once we made it through the door at Budget. It was fast, it was easy and it was less expensive then what Enterprise quoted me on almost the same vehicle. The return was super easy, no fuss. I would definitely use them again.

Have rented cars from these guys for a few years now and it has always been great service.. if they didn't have a vehicle I booked they would upgrad me at no extra cost and I have had rentals for weeks at a time all around great service never an issue

Tammy and Christine went out of their way to accommodate us and help us swap out the gas guzzling horrible Ford Ecosport that we had rented from the Grand Rapids location. (SIDE NOTE-HORRIBLE CAR avoid renting these at all costs. There is a reason why you see absolutely no one driving these vehicles) They creatively came up with a solution to our rental problem and seriously made our day! We ended up doubling our gas mileage on our trip back and the car handled significantly better. Best customer service we have ever received from a Budget Car Rental place. You can tell that these ladies truly care about giving great customer service.

Rude front desk lady. Acted as if I was a burden. And had her mask on incorrectly. At that point just don’t even bother wearing a mask.
