Family run business that really knows their stuff! Not only do I come back to keep purchasing material for my jobs but also for the candy and friendly smiles inside. They have a large selection of material and are very knowledgeable on what stone/aggregate to use for certain applications. They are very helpful and always responsive. Brooks Stone Ranch is my go to material yard.

After reading a review, posted from Suzy Collins a week ago, which wasn’t really at all helpful, and appeared to only be politically motivated rant, I wanted to share how “AWESOME” this small, locally owned, family business has been when helping me with my stone, gravel and dirt needs. I’ve known both John and Karin Brooks for many years and have watched their 2 kids grow up; go to college, and now both work in the family business. The Brook’s family lives here, works here, and contributes to this community in a very positive way, both with their time and their money. When it comes to corporate material yard knowledge, they’re 2nd to none. Give them the size of your project and they can quickly click off the amount of material you’re going to need. Not 100% sure what’s best for your project, tap into their vast knowledge on all things stone/grave/dirt related. As mentioned in other reviews, they weigh you in and weigh you out, so you only pay for what you get. Their prices are fair and reasonable, and being locally owned, they stand behind what they sell. Please look past people’s politically motivated remarks and rate an individual or business on their performance. You definitely can’t go wrong with Brooks Stone Ranch, shop local.

I have used this company several times In the past. Pretty nice set up. Nice scale to weigh everything. Very fair prices and always a joy to work with….I’m posting this review for the fact that Suzy Collins gave a business a bad 1 star review for political differences. I then review her other reviews and she does this on a regular. It’s pathetic that she would say she doesn’t hold other people opinions against them but then does. It’s a pathetic attempt to harm a good business no matter what the political beliefs are for all involved. Shame on your review. Next time make the review about the service not your hate for Trump.

I have done business with Brooks Stone Ranch a number of times over the years. Extremely courteous and professional people who are authorities on all things stone! They are even willing to educate you on the different types of stone and what would be best for your particular application.

I went here and ordered a load of rock to be delivered. When I was leaving, I saw a SUV covered with stickers supporting Trump. I went back inside and asked if that was her SUV. She said it was so I told her to cancel my order. She said she would never accost anyone for having a different opinion. I told her I absolutely would never do that either but Trump called for an insurrection and tried to destroy our democracy. I am a patriot. I respect our constitution and our country and can’t respect anyone who wants to destroy it.

We owned the Lambsrest Inn BB for 22 years and Brookstone was so helpful about a small load or a truck load.. They were patient with us when we had no idea how to compute the amount or the type that would be the best choice for each of our projects. We recently used them for our backyard and fire pit area. Thanks Brookstone.

Great customer service! I ordered 16 yards of topsoil and the representative at the counter did an excellent job helping me figure how much I needed. She scheduled my delivery and called me 2 days prior an asked if I would like it delivered a day earlier since it was supposed to rain on the delivery date. They delivered on the rescheduled date and I was able to get the topsoil spread before it rained. Thank you for this outstanding experience!

Brooks Stone Ranch has a massive rock, gravel and stone selection. Nicole and the staff are very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Don’t waste time shopping around, BSR has the service and fair prices. We were just purchasing a small amount to enhance our xeriscaped yard with some stone art. We will definitely go back.
