Made an appointment with Lynn Preiss, but when I arrived at the dealership Mrs. Preiss said she was busy and pawned me off to a man who said, right up front, "I have not sold a truck in years." For a $78,000+ cash sale I wanted a pro. I wanted certain items transferred from my old Platinum model, such as the kick steps, tool box and bed extender, to my new Platinum and was told "that would not be a problem; it was a problem as only the toolbox could be transferred! The new truck came in about eight weeks later and Mrs. Preiss handled the paperwork, mentioning right up front she would like a five star rating." The new F-150 Platinum was a "computer on wheels." I expected it to be pretty much like my old platinum , but It was nothing like it. I received no instruction or invitation for instruction except to sync my phone. Two days later the gear shift froze and I had to call a wrecker to tow. Other problems came up and they picked the truck up, held it for two weeks and still did not offer badly needed and outlined instruction which never came. Since then I took the truck to Northside Ford here in San Antonio where Jason gave me almost two hours of instructions on how to operate and program the complex computer controlled features. The service before the sale was poor, service during the sale was poor and service after the sale was very poor. After buying several cars and trucks from Bluebonnet over the last 50 years I will never buy another from them as they have forgotten what good service truly is. Oh, the last words I heard form Lynn Preiss was, "be sure and give me a five star rating." She gets a shaky one star with an asterisk!

After reading all the excellent reviews for Bluebonnet Ford, of which they used as a selling point, I have to say I am very disappointed with my experience. In short, I went to the dealership Thursday evening to look at a used F150. We could not come to an agreement on price before leaving that evening. Friday morning at 8:30, I received a text message from the sales agent Giovani letting me know that he had spoken to his manager, and they agreed to drop their counteroffer from the night before. I explained to him I needed a couple of hours to decide. At approximately 11:15 I text Giovani agreeing to purchase the vehicle. At approximately 12:30 Friday afternoon, Giovani texts me asking when I could come back to the dealership to finalize the purchase. At 12:40 I responded to Giovani's text explaining I had a prior commitment Friday evening and scheduled an appointment at 8:30 Saturday morning. At no point in that conversation did Giovani request a deposit to hold the vehicle. At 1:15 Giovani texts me requesting a deposit to hold the vehicle. I explained to him I was in a meeting and would call him once I'm done to provide a credit card to hold the vehicle. I phoned him roughly 35 minutes later to provide payment for the deposit. Giovani then explained to me that another buyer was looking at the vehicle and they would have the right of first refusal. I questioned how that could be when we had already agreed to a purchase price and scheduled an appointment to finalize the transaction. Giovani then advised me he would speak with his manager and get right back to me. After an hour and a half, I text Giovani to get a status update to which he stated he was still waiting on his manager. After another hour with no response, I called Giovani and he explained that there was nothing he could do, as it was a management decision. I requested to have his manager call me. Shortly thereafter, Ed contacted me and tried to explain that they had already been working on a deal with this other party the night before. I asked Ed then why did Giovani text me then at 8:30 in the morning stating that his manager, to which Ed confirmed was him, had approved the counter-offer that was text to me? Ed could not provide a reasonable response other than to say they dropped the ball. I got the impression they were just playing both sides of the coin to see which buyer would pay the most for the vehicle, after we had already agreed on a price. This is a prime example of why the used car industry get a bad rap. I'll take my hard-earned money and business elsewhere.

Bluebonnet Ford & Lincoln is an absolute circus in terms of management, service, and just about everything else in between. The lack of communication with their customers is astounding considering that these same customers pay their bills. We have had PURCHASED vehicles sold out from under us, days to almost weeks of no response from the service department, and frankly rude employees in general. Between personal experiences and friends / families experiences with the quality of work done on our vehicles and the interactions with the dealership itself, I can firmly say that I will never be buying a Ford vehicle from the location again. This location is a sorry excuse of representation for the Ford brand, and I hope the upper levels of the corporation look in to the malpractice of BB Ford/Lincoln. If you are looking to have a service done or even purchase a vehicle here, please do yourself a favor and drive to either San Marcos or San Antonio and save yourself the headache.

Shout out to Service Advisor John Sparkman. John is the only guy in the service department that took time to take my calls, listen to my concerns, and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service. He's a professional verses a hired hand... I purchased my Certified Lincoln six weeks ago and talked with two other service advisers who claimed that they would call me back to discuss my needs. They never did, nor did they return my subsequent calls. I finally found John who responded as though he actually cared, wrote up my repair ticket, then set me up with valet service home, and back to pick it up. I've purchased four vehicles from Bluebonnet and referred three others who subsequently purchased from them, but service at Bluebonnet Motors is not as it once was. Vehicles are terribly expensive these days and customers expect a satisfactory return on their investment. Bluebonnet needs to enhance service training or take immediate steps to shuffle the deck to find more customer-centered employees like John Sparkman.

This dealership is great at selling you a car, but the service is totally lacking. They advertise Quick Lube, no appointment necessary. I took my car in at 9:30, all the slots were full, and was told there would be a 3 hour wait. I don't mind making an appointment, but be upfront. You don't have the ability to offer Quick anything.Be prepared. call first and if it is an emergency go somewhere else.

Dropped a truck off there to be worked on and now 25 Days have passed and they have not even touched it yet. The service specialist could not answer any questions after I waited on hold for him for almost 30 minutes, said he would call me back and had not. Terrible service department, stay away from them.

I've been coming to this dealer for service since I purchased my vehicle. I had body work at a collision center which resulted in several other issues. I brought my vehicle into my "preferred, trusted" dealer location. I was told we could get a diagnosis by the end of the week. I never heard back so Monday I called, never heard back from him. I called back Wednesday and finally got a text back that my vehicle hadnt been seen yet. John did a horrible job of keeping me updated. After several days, I was told "your ac turns on and off just fine, no issue was noted." I picked up my vehicle right before closing only to notice I got a severe door ding after I got home. This happened while my vehicle sat for a week on their lot. So now I had to go out of my way and pay for a door ding to be popped out while it sat at Ford for a week with nothing done!

I have no idea how there are 5 star reviews here...I've used them 4 times and it has been terrible EVERY time. I called 5 times to get a live person in service last week for the Death Wobble on my 2019 f250. I was told there is a part with extended warranty but that I would have to schedule the service through the website not through him. I did and had a service time of 10:00 am on Thursday. While attempting to drop of the vehicle I was told I did not have an appointment and that they were booked solid through next week. Bluebonnet is less than 2 miles from my house, but I will never use them again. I called Griffith Ford in San Marcos and spoke to service on the first ring and he set up my appointment. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

I went back and forth on posting this but due to them being unprofessional this is a must to have other families not to be scammed! Bottom line they won't refund your refundable deposit. They lie to you. Will tell you they'll get back to you but won't return your calls or voicemails. Will sell your vehicle from under you.Read our experience:We went with this dealership because they seemed nice and friendly. Booked an appointment ahead of time with a salesperson. Got to dealership and said sales person is no where to be found. They stuck us with a random one, Will Hancock. We ordered fine. We made sure to ask if the refund was refundable for any reason and if we could cancel the order. He stated yes it was refundable and to wait for car's delivery to cancel. The time frame was 2-6 months. We ordered November 27, 2021. I was pregnant at the time and needed a new car to fit a growing family. Months go on by with no word from dealership and ford. It was forever stuck in "in production." So we decide to cancel via email. Will said he couldn't cancel until vehicle delivered. We waited ages, finally May 2022 we get notification that it will be delivered. We called to receive a refund. Will said oh it isn't refundable, he can't do anything but will ask. Weeks go by with no word so we call back. We asked to speak to some one that can help or is higher than him. He states he is the highest. We requested for our vehicle since the deposit won't be refunded. He said we sold it already. We decided to try dispute our credit card company. It was denied because too much time has lapsed. We contact dealership again. Asked for a sales manager after I left a vague voicemail. Received a call back, I told him our situation. He said he would call back and look into it. Months go by. When you contact dealership and ask if refund is refundable they state yes. You leave a voicemail and they won't return your calls. Now it is more than a year later no car, no refund, and no contact from dealership.Avoid this at all cost. They don't care about you whatsoever.

From the initial contact with Josh & Oscar, to the moment I drove the car off of the lot, and even since, I have thoroughly enjoyed my new 2016 Ford Fusion! The team pretty much pampered me and put up with my questions and concerns, and have even kept in touch to ensure my maximum satisfaction! I'd definitely recommend Bluebonnet Ford for the professional care given to me!

Fantastic service and low pressure experience with Tom Brandt and Steve Fekkos. Bought a Mach E today and both were excellent.

I just bought my first Camaro and it was quite an experience!! Will Hancock was my sales guy and he was patient and answered everything we wanted to know! He listened to everything we had to say and helped find my dream car and the best deal for us. We then we're taken over to Finance and we're helped by Jerry who was also amazing!! i've never had a good dealership experience until today and I'm so glad we came!! Thank you to everyone who helped us!!
