I was helped by Lane Jones on Friday morning. He was courteous on the phone and set my expectations for changing a battery on my iPhone 8plus.
When I met Lane in the store he said that he needed my phone passcode. When I refused to give up my passcode he sounded upset and stated that he could not perform the repair without it. I assured him that I would not leave the store, and I will be available to enter the code as needed. He seemed reluctant to proceed.
The repair agreement that he had me sign stated that my phone was backed up (it was not and I should have but I forgot) also stated that my phone charge port was inoperative (his charging cable was broken).
In all, the repair was fast, and the work performed was excellent. My suggestion for Lane is to relax about the passcode. I don’t expect that he would download any information or access my device to steal, but my passcode is there to protect my data for a reason. Don’t get upset over it. Stay positive when speaking to customers. I could see you were upset so I tried to make small talk. Your demeanor changed after I didn’t give up the passcode. It could have been a really good experience but you didn’t make a great first impression.

Before you shop here. Ask yourself two questions. Do you want to pay 200% more for comparable products just for Duracell name? Do you want to want a company that will provide customer support and exchange/refund defective products?
In my case I purchased 12V 9Ah batteries $48.99 each. One of them was defective. Not at proper voltage. Was not able to return or exchange within two days after purchase. Was told this was my battery and potential warranty issue. Claimed I drained/depleted battery charge or damaged. Said battery had been used and this was my battery now. None of which was true. I simply connected battery and didn’t work. Uninstalled and then was able to check voltage before returning to the store. Was met with resistance trying to refund or exchange battery. Offered to put on charger and file warranty if issue possibly after fully charged. This should have been batteries plus problem with Duracell. Not mine. Should I have checked voltage on batteries before leaving store? Brought my own load tester? Buying number of batteries in past from Sam’s, Walmart, Home Depot, autozone, tractor supply and amazon I’ve never had customer service issue on defective products, warranty, or returns. Autozone even exchanged my auto battery 23 months into 24 month warranty no questions or red tape. On the bright side I was able to buy equal 12V 9Ah mighty max battery for $24.99. Yes 2 batteries for price of one Duracell. Arrived in great condition without scratches or peeling stickers like Duracell off the shelf.

Worst attitude ever, can't tell "what it is" running the store. Whatever it is, it he she them they. Shouldn't be working in the public at all. Will Never ever go back. Way overpriced and rude.Houston stores z are awesome service

Service was great. Would not purchase a replacement iPhone battery from them as you do lose a couple of features and they did not inform us of this and we found out after the fact.

This place is a joke. Everything in this store is much cheaper on Amazon. But more importantly, the service here at this store is the worst. I've been shopping here for years for the convenience but never again. The store manager is the worst. Incredibly rude, i can't finish a sentence without him talking over me. I've noticed how rude this person "lane" is and try to dismiss it, but today was too much. I tried to park in there parking spot but the employee at the vehicle in the spot next to it had the driver's side door open and looked at me, snickered and walked away with the door open. He came back but stood in the open doorway. Looking at me laughing. When i tried to tell the manager, he yelled at me immediately. I will never spend my money here again. I had to go full karen and call corporate to complain. Long story short, go elsewhere.
