I debated doing this until I took my dog to our new vet: I went here in January looking to get more information about my dog’s cancer. I will say the front desk staff were extremely friendly. They got me scheduled for the appropriate tests as recommended by the doctor pretty quickly. When I picked up my dog after the tests he reeked of urine and stank. I was taken aback at the smell. Then trying to get the test results. The doctor is VERY busy. It took weeks and several phone calls trying to get the information. When the doctor did finally call he was so rushed and hurried through the conversation I felt he couldn’t get off the phone fast enough. What prompted me to write this review was how my dog (a beagle) reacted for our first visit at our new vet: HE WAS TERRIFIED. Visibility trembling and having a panic attack. HE HAS NEVER HAD THIS REACTION AT A VET. I don’t know what happened, but I firmly believe something did at this practice.

This clinic has been great! They are always pretty quick to bring us back for appointments. We have been taking both of our Frenchies there for years. Our girl has also gone through a specialty surgery for tail removal that they handled extremely well and she has recovered quickly. Dr. White is awesome! You can tell she has a passion for her job and loves all of the animals that come in.

We are new-ish to the area and had some really bad experiences with not 1 , but 2 other unaffiliated vet clinics in town. So we decided to give this one a try on a recommendation from a neighbor. Well I am really glad we did! Everyone from the front office to our Dr.( Dr. White) was just outright amazing. It's never easy having to go somewhere new with 2 large dogs especially after they have been traumatized by a prior experience elsewhere. AMC really made the experience great! They took their time to get to know my pups and explained everything including pricing and even a really good health plan before doing anything! Everyone was Very honest and transparent and you can tell they actually care about the animals more than squeezing you for every last penny. The best part was they actually listened to the pet owners and did everything right there in a gentle fear free manner. My adopted rescue dog Swayze certainly appreciated that . My girl Luna did too especially after the prior clinic somehow reverted nearly 6 yrs of work put in to make nail trims easy and charged us 900 dollars to apparently not give them their vaccines we thought back in March. Thank you so much AMC for being awesome , and patient with us and our pups. I'm so glad we FINALLY found a good vet close to home that actually cares and doesn't ridiculously overcharge.

Our experience with AMC has always been positive. Staff is friendly and they do their best to treat my dogs with gentleness. This is especially true with my little Chihuahua rescue that is so scared of vets, she tends to snap at them. The staff understands and handles her well. Both my dogs are healthy and happy because of the care they've received. My Bichon loves going to Dr. Williams.

The entire staff is amazing! Front desk/receptionist are always so kind, even when they are clearly busy. Vet Techs always give my dogs so much attention and listen to all my concerns. I have seen all 3 Vets and love them all; I never feel like they are too busy to listen to my concerns (even when I'm clearly just being a neurotic dog mom)!!!

Our family started with Animal Medical Center 4 years ago when I got my first dog ( #1 Storm )as an adult. Some say becoming a new Mom is hard but becoming a new fur Mom is a different level of hard. (I’ve done both btw) The whole staff at Animal Medical Center (who I consider family at this point )were so helpful in the guidance on how to do things the right way. I remember calling with crazy questions at the beginning and they showed so much love and grace to me never making me feel like a burden. So much so that when the time came to get #2 Bullet and #3 Flops I was comfortable in my fur baby parenting. Through the past 4ish years we have been provided next level service which is nothing short of stellar. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I’ve seen a couple different Drs there and each has been caring, professional and answered all of my crazy fur mom questions. I can say with 100% certainty that I would not have been able to rescue 2 more dogs comfortably after my first without their guidance in the beginning and the continued love and care these fast years. I appreciate them so very much and would be lost without them.
Y’all truly are angels among us and I’m thankful for y’all each day!

This is my new favorite vet! Everyone here is so wonderful and the prices are beyond fair. Another vet quoted me nearly $2,000 to get my dog's teeth cleaned after initially saying it would be $300 and charging a $65 exam fee. However, this place doesn't price gouge and offers annual packages that really help. My dog had six teeth removed, and they scheduled a follow-up appointment in two weeks to ensure he was okay, which no other vet has ever done. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Animal Medical Center is absolutely amazing and acted quickly to save our dog's life! We will be forever grateful! We're continuously greeted on the phone and in person in the nicest and most respectful way, and every staff member I have ever spoken with has been very helpful! Dr. Williams is a class act and truly cares about the health and well-being of all the animals he treats.

The vet called me and told me that the girls at the front desk said that I was rude because after 7 months at $700/mo, they removed me from the schedule, then lied to their management and said that I cancelled, which I never did. Was I mad? Yes. Unprofessional? No. I guess I was trying to get them ready for real life. The vet ended business with me today, so I am here to tell you to not bring your pets to Gruene Gables or the animal hospital next door on FM 306. Completely unreasonable and the staff is so worn out that they treat customers poorly. It's sad because it's a nice facility and my dog loved it. Shout out to the kennel crew, cause they were awesome. Sorry that some young lady got her feelings hurt, but when you make a mistake, own up to it. Be better.
