I just moved into town a few months ago and finally made an appointment to get my eyes checked. Yalls employees need to communicate better on the cost of the exam. When I was in the exam room doing the tests, I was told $30. She never once said it was $30 extra. So it came as a surprise when I went to check out to find out no it’s actually $50. For some people that might be $20 that they don’t have. Work on the communication so the total isn’t a surprise when people go to check out.

Great service. Very knowledgeable, tried multiple ways to process my insurance and store deals so I got the BEST deal. Did not feel pressured or rushed.

I've had great experiences with other America's Best locations, but this one was terrible.First, the optometrist not only stopped mid-exam to answer a personal phone call, he then proceeded to place a follow-up personal phone call before resuming my eye exam.Second, I verified multiple times that I was getting a contacts-only eye exam. When I arrived home to order my own contacts I discovered that the prescription in the closed envelope they handed me was only for glasses. I then had to go back to pick up the correct prescription. The reason for two stars instead of one is that I did not get a hard time at all with not ordering my contacts on-site.

It is very easy to make an appointment & my wait time was under 5 minutes. My eye doctor was very helpful with correcting my previous prescription that was too strong. Makenzie helped me afterwords with picking frames and adjusting them. She was super kind and patient with me. I picked two frames, walked out and realized I should’ve went with my gut and got one of the frames I originally wanted. Makenzie was incredibly understanding and helpful with swapping them out. She even offered to adjust my current frames for me for a better fit. I can’t wait to get my frames in!

I worked with E.J. He greeted me and was kind. Not pushy. I made my selections and he helped me check out. He went over my benefit coverage and let me decide which glasses I wanted. I am VERY happy with the entire process. I went to VisionWorks down the road initially. It is clean and nice in there, but soooo quiet and awkward. I didn’t feel comfortable or interested in staying to shop. I went to Americas Best and am happy I did. They didn’t have as big of a selection of the higher price point glasses (one wall) but overall experience was 10/10. If you are looking for a low to mid price point selection, this is the place for you. VisionWorks definitely had more high end, but I only wear my glasses at the house and didn’t want to spend upwards of $800 for a few pair.

You get what you pay for !!!!!!First I went there to get my eyes rechecked if it's the same.Since checking eyes involves getting 2 pair glasses almost for free, I would be crazy not to do it.When the glasses where done, the girl made them fit my face and broke one of the glasses, so I had to come back for those, like I have nothing else to do!By the way those glasses are so cheap! I use them as my spare!Worst of my experience is, i let this other girl which took my order in on the first day, take my own Prada eye glasses to make them fit my face better! Now it's all crooked and it has deep scratches on the end of the frame ! So incompetent!Unbelievable I'm speechless! Where do you guys teach them to this job? At the autoshop?

this was a fabulous experience and I recommend this company to anyone needing an eye exam and glasses. The exam was done quickly and easily but was very precise and I was confident for the first time that the prescription was absolutely correct for my vision and personal needs. Next I had to pick 3 frames and had no idea which ones to pick or which ones would look ok on my face. Their employee Sarah H was a godsend. she was extremely helpful and patient with me while we tried the different shapes and colors on me. We were finally able to agree on the three best suited for me. She was an absolute delight. She went though the different options for each pair of glasses with me but was never pushy and let me decide what I needed. She went over the bill with me which was an unbeatable deal and I walked out extremely satisfied and happy. I can’t wait to pick up my glasses. Thank you Sarah H and thanks to Americas Best!

Got a same day appointment at website. Didn't have my insurance card but they worked hard to find my coverage. Optometrist was personable, efficient, and professional. Good selection of frames. Sarah gave me good advice on the frames, measured carefully, and patiently showed me all the options I was interested in. Good price for anti-glare, polycarbonate xtractive transiton lenses. Highly recommended.

Had an eye exam for myself and my son, got my glasses and was immediately uncomfortable, I tried to adjust to them and couldn’t so the next day I took them back and told them the prescription in one of my lenses wasn’t correct, the gm instead of redoing my exam told me to “just try to adjust to them” even though I know it’s not correct. They want me to wait a WEEK and then come back. My insurance is already used up so I have to go back and hope I can get a check up and my glasses, it took 2 weeks just to get these and now I’ll probably have to wait another 2 weeks if they even adjust them. If they refuse to adjust them then I’ll have to pay out of pocket for a new exam AND glasses INCLUDING the upgrades my insurance covered. Don’t waste your time, go to a thorough eye doctor.

Better make sure of your insurance coverage before hand. They don't check. I was a few days early before my renewal and they didn't bother to tell me that until after the exam was done. $89 out of pocket!
