A dog is a friend for life, we were expecting that, but we also got a trusted place to board our dog for the out of town trips. We couldn’t be happier with the relationship we’ve had with folks at Nevada Haus. The best thing is of course the healthy and energetic GSD they let us adopt. they were very knowledgeable about various GSD like breeds. 10/10

This is our 6th German Shepard, first one from Nevada Haus!I can’t even begin to tell you how much we love this smart, beautiful, sweet pup.He is almost 6 months old, and even though he has “puppy” moments-he is the best dog with the best disposition we have had,Jennifer is amazing, we loved meeting the parents and the other dogs!We love that our baby can also go back for “doggie sleepover camp” when we go out of town and know that he is safe and loved by his first human mamma:)You cannot go wrong entrusting Nevada Haus to provide your next GSD best friend.

I wanted to take a moment to express our thanks to Nevada Haus for our two fabulous GSD’s! We love them so much we just picked out our third with Jennifer! I grew up raising GSD’s and am fully aware of how crucial it is to not only breed for show but for temperament. I have never had two better dogs than Mathilda and Zigmund! They are fabulous around people, kids, and other dogs. In fact, last year we took a 2500 mile road trip for our vacation and they came with us. We stayed in hotels, visited national parks, and took them into all sorts of different social situations and people kept telling us how amazed they were at how good our dogs were! We do not show our dogs, but a goal with Zigmund was to get his CGC certificate which we obtained easily when he was about 9 months old. Our dogs are the best and that is because Jennifer breeds for the best! I can assure you that I would not have gotten a second, much less a third dog from someone that does not breed the best temperament dogs! If you are considering getting a GSD, look no further! Nevada Haus is the only place you need to go and Jennifer is the only breeder you need to work with!!!!

We were so delighted when we visited our daughter and son-in-law and were able to meet Rocky. We were amazed how well Rocky is doing with consistent weeks of training. It was a joy to see Rocky eager to go on walks, socialize and be ready for daily training. Thank you to the breeder of these beautiful Shepards. The addition to our family is one that we will cherish for years to come!!!!

Nearly two years ago we had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer at Nevada Haus and knew this would be where we would get our future GSD. She is very experienced and knowledgeable about the GSD breed and has been showing and training for years. We kept in touch until our family was ready for a GSD puppy as we knew this would be A LOT OF WORK! Having had a German shepherd before (American GSD) we understand the breed as well as the commitment with training as this does not happen in a week— it’s lifelong! This is what builds a beautiful bond with training EVERYDAY in all aspects. The temperament of her German line GSDs are amazing; which she has worked on for years. We have socialized our pup around people of all ages. We have a 3 y/o toddler who is inseparable with our dog since the beginning!! He is great with kids but we also are aware with how the other kids handle the pup as this is very important for a positive experience to both of them. Our GSD puppy is currently 5 months old and continuing to learn new things and experiences. He needs and loves his exercises both physically and mentally!! I couldn’t be happier with having worked with Jennifer and have been able to get our handsome boy. She is very knowledgeable and informative as well as supportive and encouraging with training. No one I know knows this breed better!! We have taken Rocky to some puppy classes but for us we have received the best training from Jennifer. It is our responsibility to put in the work to help these beautiful fur babies be well mannered and happy dogs. Our boy loved coming back to see Jennifer for boarding while we had to go away for a few days… his own little vacation/resort :)We highly recommend if you are looking for a German Shepherd Dog to reach out to Nevada Haus! You can also follow our GSD as he grows! Before getting a puppy, I did years of research over the german shepherd breed and fell in love. I even had the pleasure of working with a lot of them. Months prior to receiving Benji from Nevada Haus, I watched hours of training videos and german shepherd puppy videos to prepare myself for him. Once I picked him up, I spent the first week solely bonding and playing with him. The next week, I started incorporating training. He learned tricks and commands super quick and enjoyed it! Next was socializing him, as I did with any other dogs in my home and dogs I've worked with (all normal, happy dogs), but soon I noticed his behavior issues. He would snarl, growl, and lunge at people (including passing kids) and other dogs. He does well with my family and our family dogs now but is completely feral towards anyone else. I desperately researched and called lots of trainers, but most were unable to guarantee his success and others were far too costly. To be blunt, raising the money for Benji was far from easy, but "worth it" for a guaranteed healthy pup and good temperament. Each trainer has asked me where I got him from, and if I met the parents. A few have also told me, he's going through a random fear period. I saw the dad in his outdoor pen but never saw the mom. I would have just adopted a german shepherd from the shelter and paid for training. He does not have a good temperament - in fact he's far from it. I reached out to Nevada Haus, but she kept throwing the blame on me blantly stating that I didn't spend enough time with him (are you kidding me!! He's my baby! I spent all the time I possibly could with him. He learned the basics at a young age, recieved endless cuddles and playtime- I devoted all I could) She also stated that it could be because of the other younger dog in my house - Once again! Not my puppy - my mom's, so they equally got a ton of attention and training. She also repeatedly stated that I never devoted the time needed for him (nice to know she lives with me). I set aside two weeks off of work to ensure I had plenty of time with him for training, played, and bonding. He is not the first puppy I ever had. I have NEVER experienced this problem before. At the end of the day, I'm not going to go into further detail on his behavior, but it is exactly what you hope to avoid by going to a "reputable" breeder. At the end of the day, Benji is family. Everyone has stated the details I missed. Clearly, I don't recommend this place. Unfortunately, this is my first experience getting a dog through a breeder rather than adopting as my family has.

I have had Django, black long haired GSD, for 6 months now. He is everything I wanted. Nevada Haus was great when I was just looking and is still great now. They have been an amazing source of information as he grows. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend. The quality of GSD is very high for Nevada Haus. They consistently import GSD dogs from Germany and sometimes other known, high quality breeders in the US. Their blood lines are solid. The dogs are seemingly bred to be versatile family companions. But these also have a high potential for show or work.I have not used their training services, so I can't talk to those.I did purchase a female GSD about 8 years ago and she has been a wonderful family companion. We have had other shepherds and be warned, these are smart dogs. If you never had a smart dog, well, they are a special treat. Given time, most of these dogs can figure out many things. These dogs don't need to be dominated. They are eager to please. Positive reinforcement is the way to train. We enjoyed working with Nevada Haus and trust their ethics so much that we are currently in the process of getting a second GSD within the coming months. They are state certified. They are also concerned with family fit... it is not just a sale to them. They are "completing families" and want lifelong homes for these dogs.I could go on, but you get the point. Great breeder. Highly Recommend.

I purchased Leo, a male GSD, from Jennifer for my family this past February. I couldn't be happier with our gorgeous and healthy pup. He is absolutely brilliant and just a stunning looking doggy.Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with and kept us informed along every step of the process prior to Leo's birth. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience and took the time to ensure Leo would have a great transition.Absolutely top notch experience all around and would highly recommend.

After extensive research and talking with other breeders, my wife and I decided to go with Nevada Haus to get our GSD puppy. We could not be happier with how great he is! Very obedient, easily trainable, and has a mild temperament (especially compared to other dogs his age). He does great with dogs, cats, young children and other people. Jennifer is always quick to respond to any questions you have, and is very willing to give advice on caring for your new puppy. If you’re looking for a quality GSD, I would highly recommend considering Nevada Haus!
