I was in the Market Basket a few days ago and she isn't a nice person. I go in there and do all my shopping. She is rude to most of her employees and she is rude to customers as well. I go in there hoping that Ms Brenda is there to wait on me and I have talked with other's and we would love to see Ms Brenda back in the Market Basket in Vidor back working there again. Because a lot of the customers are thinking about going to another store to do out shopping. We heard also why Ms Brenda quit. No one is obligated to answer there phone while there off work . Found out it was the main store manager there at the Market Basket in Vidor. And she really needs to go ahead and retire or let her go. That Market Basket has problems keeping employees anyway. You need more people in there that has a good personality and you need to get Ms Brenda back in there. The store manager should apologize to her and realize what she said was wrong. If not I know a lot people that might stop shopping at the Market Basket in Vidor. It all about how you treat customers employees to keep a business running. . I know enough people to have it closed down.

Terrible on produce, and better check expiration dates. I went to the deli to get some Ham for sandwiches. The lady pulled out the end piece that was left from the ham, very small pieces. I ask for it to cut from the larger ham. I even helped hold the glass while she picked up the large ham under the glass. Then she tried to pull a switch and started cutting from the small end piece. The pieces would cover about half of a slice of bread. I told her no I did not want that. I talked with the young manager, He went and talked with them and she still refused to cut and larger slices. I told them I want a slice large enough to cover the bread but she still refused. Bad customer service. From now on I'm going to a much better store, HEB. Cleaner, better selection and much better produce. Not to mention courteous staff.

Clean and organized. Staff pleasant. Some Prices higher than other places but other items competitive. Also, produce better than most other places.

The people are really nice there, on 11th street in Beaumont, not a lot of selection, expensive but, sometimes they have good deals like Bacon less then other stores eggs are a decent price. I wish there wine selection was bigger and better

If you're in the Market for a Basket case, I have several exs in mind. Easily one of the worst grocery stores we ever used - it's not fresh and it's extremely expensive and service wasn't very nice either. So not a very good grocery store at all for the Port Arthur area. It's expensive and it's missing various things that I would want. For this reason I rarely come to this Market Basket when I'm in town, but they did have a couple things that we needed when we needed them, so we were grateful about that at least.

Manager was obnoxious and rude. Called corporate office, to report him. I was told I would get a call back and was owed an apology. No one ever called me. They have a monopoly on us.

Corporate is no help at all, it’s not like I’m a hoarder, I went to the location in dequincy to buy 20 frozen meals for 4 ppl I my household, I had 55 cent off coupons for each meal purchased as stated on the coupon, so there both saying “ that’s there’s a limit on the amount of coupons that you can use per day”, are the exact words from one of the managers Mr. Libbert and whoever David is that I spoke to from the Corporate office, it’s bad enough that they have increased their prices on everything but to limit the amount of Coupons that you can use is beyond crazy, I don’t recommend anyone spend their money at a business that turns away their customers money. Price gouging at its finest, then the David guy , said that “they have to allow other people to use the same coupons “ , a made up rule...smh

Administration not helpful at all when solving critical situations. Speaking of saftey, and claims department only one employee. Need to have someone truthful, and reliable to the public. Never return important calls, nor emails. I do know that sometimes some people get relaxed in their jobs, that they have that when it effects others. They dont realize the stress that its causing on the person on the other end. Diane please do a better job.....

I have had one of the worst experiences with the corporate office and the market basket on phelan and major. I was denied service because the courtesy booth manager state I was liar for the reason for wanting to wire money. The manager steve Brandon was just as bad worst customer service I have ever experienced I will never go into that market basket again. I promise I will speak to someone in higher management
