I came in 03/09/24 and honestly didn’t know what to expect. My Baby girl needed to see a vet ASAP for her condition. They didn’t except walk-ins but when I asked the young women at the front if they could help me, she not only did just that but answered my questions and eased my concern. No other place was open today either, they were my only option and they showed up. My last vet was way more expensive on treatment and exams and I paid $30 for both. Thank you again!!

The BEST veterinary care in the area. Dr Rankin is caring and thorough with my pets. His staff are extremely polite and explain any questions that are asked. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!

Best vet's office in Texarkana. Dr. Rankin is thorough, compassionate and personable. We had to have our sweet tabby put down because of an uncurable medical condition and Dr. Rankin was awesome thorough the whole process.
I recomend him to all of my pet owning friends.

Look every veterinarian we ask said NO we can't see your pet that's major surgery!!! oh my God, just take him to Shreveport and go away, this vet said bring him in.... and they did their best, but we couldn't get him in quick enough, they tried put they said he probably wouldn't make it, but (we WILL try) and they tried, I don't understand why people giving negative reviews you have to give everybody a call in you can't just bump somebody else and get mad because you can't get in, these people are awesome and I brought my dog back now and I will bring the rest of my animals back he will work with you awesome guys

We called to see if they would see our little girl for a leg infection. We made a appointment and they saw her the same day! I have personally never used this vet before and they still saw her. Staff was very friendly and I am going to try them with the rest of my girls. Thank you for the medication and the information to help me get her better!

I took our dog in because he had a knot on his head that was bleeding and causing his eye to swell shut. He was miserable. $100 later, I left with 2 prescriptions and was never even able speak with the vet. I was told to give him the meds and if it wasn’t better in 2 days, find another vet that does x-rays. I’ve spent around $700 in that office over the past month for our dogs, and to be dismissed and basically left to fend for ourselves was pretty disappointing.Update: I called Westridge Animal and they were able to get my dog in the same day. No x-rays were needed. They said it was an abscess and drained it immediately. The vet at Westridge took less than 10 minutes to diagnose and treat my dog while Dr. Rankin was unable to do so during his exam. Absolutely ridiculous.

Wouldnt even see my lab. They werent even busy and it was saturday so there was nowhere else to turn so i went out of town. He had a bad bitten leg that just needed at the very least an antibiotic because it was visibly swollen.

we took our pup to clinic this morning. no one in parking lot. no patients in clinic. our pup had a leg with infection. the clinic refused to see him because we did not have an appointment. they could have at least started him on an antibiotic so we could return Monday. we went to a different vet. Rankin Vet was not helpful at all. shame on you. Rankin is TERRIBLE!!!!

Rankin Veterinarian is an amazing clinic! I have taken all my dogs there. They have been so helpful with any issues that come up. They have helped me with end of life care with 3 of my dogs and I still take my remaining dog to them.

The staff and Dr. Rankin are very compassionate and caring. I lost a pet who was sick and they have been amazing to us and our other animals.
