* LONG POST ALERT*My Husband and I bought our first home in April. The original owner of the home was wheelchair bound and requested that the Master Bathroom shower be built with no shower enclosure to allow easier accessibility. For whatever reason, the original owner never moved into the home. After having our home inspected, we were told that the slope of the shower was not deep enough to use without an enclosure and the water would likely run on to the floor. So, we made the decision to add a shower enclosure with a door. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting Renfroe Glass to install the shower enclosure. I reached out to Joey Renfro and explained why I wanted/needed a shower enclosure. He came out to my home to do measurements and gave me a quote for installation. I paid for his services, and the shower enclosure was installed at the beginning of May. Honestly, we loved the aesthetics of the shower enclosure. It looked beautiful. Unfortunately, the 1st time the shower was used, it flooded the entire bathroom. Water was coming from the base of the shower door. I reached out to Joey and was told that he would come out to take a look at the shower. Joey did not come but sent one of his employees out to examine the leak. Some additional materials were added to the shower door, but it continued to leak. Between May and July, Joey sent his employees out to several times to fix the leak to no avail. Now, throughout all of this I've been nothing but nice and patient with Joey. After multiple attempts the fix the leak, Joey himself came out to my home and promised me that he would fix my shower. First of all, Joey brought a gun into my home without my permission. When my husband asked about the gun, Joey explained that he was threaten with a gun by a previous customer (hmm... I wonder why). After testing the shower, the next day, it was still leaking. So, I kindly reached out to Joey and asked for a refund. I was told that he would call me later to discuss the issue. Joey never called me but, like a coward, had one of his employees call to explain that "Joey says" that I have a tile and drain issue that needs to be fixed and the leaking from the shower had nothing to do with the shower enclosure. Joey does not have the qualifications to make these assumptions. After I asked for a refund, Joey blocked my number from calling or texting him. I basically had to stalk Joey just to have a conversation with him. I called and went to his office multiple times and left multiple messages he NEVER returned my calls. By the last time I went to office looking for him, I was beyond livid! I had to ask his employee to call from her phone just so I could speak with him. I was not nice at all by this point and demanded a refund. I called the office the next day to inquire about my refund. Again, I was told that I would not be getting a refund, and I could just take him to court. Say less Sir! I immediately went to small claims to court and filed a claim. We have been in our home since May, and we still have not been able to use our shower. See, Joey thought he was going to just take my money and leave me high and dry. Right idea, but the wrong person. I've reached out to several shower glass installation companies in town, and allegedly, they have had to fix many of Joey's mistakes. One company came out and was immediately able to point out several things that were wrong with the enclosure. For example, the shower door should have been place on the opposite side of the enclosure. Fast forward to the end of September, which is when we went to court. Guess who the Judge sided with!! Not only did I get my refund, but he also has to pay my court cost as well. This could have been completely avoided if he wasn't trying to get over on me. Please take my advice, DO NOT GO TO RENFRO GLASS!! Check the comments for videos and pictures. P.S.- If you are a fan Renfro Glass, that's your prerogative, but don't come for me!

Horrible experience. I had to be rescheduled for a windshield replacement 3 times, just for it to not get finished. First time they scheduled me a day and got it mixed up with another, second time they ordered wrong windshield, and third time was a week later, and when I showed up to an appointment THEY scheduled me for, yet somehow they “didn’t have the windshield”. To top it off, when they called and told me they didn’t have the windshield they needed the first time, they waited to call and tell me after I had already dropped it off. They never told me when to pick it up, so I called back an hour later just for them to answer none of my calls. I go to pick up my car at around 3 pm on a Friday… no one is there! (hours before google says they close) My keys were left unattended for lord knows how long in my car and they didn’t even bother to notify me. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. don’t bother wasting your time.Service: Auto windshield repair

If you want the job done, right I don’t advise using this place. They are not trustworthy and they do not complete their jobs that they’ve been paid to do. And when you try to talk to him about it, all they do is avoid your calls . $2400 shower door, but you can’t take a shower because it floods your floor every time. very poor job even after the fifth time they came out and told your day was going to make sure that the job was done. Now they won’t even answer the phones very bad business.Service: General door installation

Chipped my brand new windshield 2 weeks after it was installed.Renfros worked me in the same day to fill the chip.Every other glass place wanted me to wait until the next day and setup an appointment.Renfros saved the day and let me drive up and get it fixed.Whole process was literally 5 minutes.Will be a return customer.

If you need a windshield chip repaired go somewhere else. Paid $45 for them to put a few drops of resin in the chip. It still looks exactly the same...spreading actually. Total waste of time and money

Had a rock chip fixed Wednesday Saturday morning got up to the chip having spread all the way across my windshield. Now having to replace my windshield and was told they would only cover the $45 it cost for the rock chip the new glass is $600. Tried to stay local to get this problem fixed guess I’ll have to start driving to lufkin where I know they fix the problem right the first time.

I would like to complement Joey Renfro on how he takes care of his customers. I had new windshield put in my 2019 F250 and there was a small issue that I did not notice until 2 weeks later and he went over and above to fix this problem. Thanks again Joey!!

I will say this if you go there to have a windshield chip repair, don’t expect for it to be visibly, repaired and don’t expect for them to stand behind their service because they will not. All they do is wipe glue into the little crack that is there that is it no drilling or anything like I have had done in the past at other places you can still see all the cracks right now like nothing has been done and that’s why I asked them if they stand behind their work and they no! I paid $67 for that .

We have only used their inspection services and not glass. The attendant who greeted me and completed my inspection was friendly. Although, the only things that happened were taking my insurance, walked behind the vehicle quickly once, and then paid and left. Nothing else was inspected that is actually on the annual safety inspection requirements.
