There was a different doctor for my dogs the last time I took them in... a visit usually costs about $200 ...They took them into another room to do administer their needed treatment... which was not the norm with the previous vet...My bill was $898... I have no clue what they did to generate such charges... They charged for a toenail trim... I had filed their nails very short two days previous... I will be finding a new vet..

This place is not the same since the change in ownership. The prices have increased almost 100% and the staff in the front is all about collecting as much money as possible from clients. The happiness of the clients and the health of the dogs are secondary!

Worst group of girls in the front while I was sitting there in the lobby they was talking about how bad clients are and how bad some of the animals are. Very unprofessional

Best veterinary clinic in Nacogdoches. They are the nicest staff and have some of the best prices around. Dr. Acuña is the best veterinarian in town and will be honest with you, and will give his all to your animal. Dr. Stout is one of the friendliest men you've ever met and will try to help your wallet while still giving excellent care. Any of the vets working here are wonderful and care very much about all the animals they see. You can't go wrong at this clinic!

Don't Bother here. I brought my puppy to this vet and the first time was great, they got all her medical info from me and scheduled a shot for a month later. the second visit comes and they did not even take me back to a room with her, they just took her back there and I waited in the front while they went back and forth asking me for all her medical info again saying they didn't have anything from the last visit, so I emailed my puppy's vaccine info and medical history to them and they come back saying they didn't look at my email (that they asked for prior) before giving her the WRONG vaccine. all they said was "oh it wont hurt her" while proceeding to try to CHARGE me for this shot she had already previously had. If I could give 0 stars I would. the worst thing is they said during the first visit this "puppy plan" I bought would cover her first visit, fecal, and vaccines, which is why I took her there in the first place, but this second appointment comes and immunizations weren't covered under this bogus plan I bought. this is a copy and past from my google review because everyone should know to be careful here.

I accepted a Border Collie, Hamish (Pronounced HAY-mish), as a surrender dog after the death of her owner from Covid. I had previously owned a Border Collie and was excited to have another. I decided to use North Street Veterinary Clinic as the dogs health care provider (along with "Peaches", my girlfriends English Bulldog) and to get them evaluated. I received the shocking news that Hamish was positive for heart worms and I was very upset....both at the financial impact before Christmas and the tole that the treatment takes on a high energy dog. However, there was just something that didn't set right with their diagnosis or their care. For one, they mixed up the medications that they prescribed for the dogs and the administrators inability to explain the doses and dosing schedule for the medications. Additionally, they gave me two weeks of Doxycycline and told me that it was three weeks supply. Therefore, I decided to get a second opinion and made an appointment with a vet on University Drive. The vet performed the heartworm check and confirmed - twice - that Hamish did NOT have heartworms. I find that the unprofessional diagnosis and poor attention to detail by the staff at North Street Veterinary Clinic leads me to conclude that I would not use them as a health care provider for any animal.

The reception staff is kind, cheerful and knowledgeable. If I am worried, they help me feel that all will be okay. Dr. Russell is also all the above, and genuinely loves her animal patients. She is thorough and gentle, and my Rosie trusts her and her techs. What I really appreciate is being able to be in the exam room with my dog, to comfort her, and ask questions.

I worked there for nearly 4 years! My animals have went there for about 10+ years! I’ve worked hands on with both doctors and I can’t say one bad thing about either! Between the two you can’t beat them..
