Dear CBTX and all those who wish to bank here, Â Â This is an open letter to commercial bank of Texas Stallings Branch. I am appalled, horrified, disgusted at the actions of Mrs.Carol Bostian, manager of this location. Â Â I am currently consulting with legal advisors after what I can only describe as the most embarrassing ordeal I've ever had to experience. I am very active in my community, i own a historic property in Nacogdoches, i have worked extensively with Habitat for Humanity of Nacogdoches, and my grandparents contributed heavily to the city during their lives. Our family has owned property in Nacogdoches since 1862, many of the historic buildings downtown were built using wood milled by MY g-g-g-grandfather. I won't go into lengthy detail, but long story short is as follows. I opened up a bank account with cbtx less than one month ago, for my car/health insurance to debit from, after receiving my card but never receiving the accompanying pin number, I tried (and failed) to activate the card to access my funds. However, cbtx does not mention that it's "after-hours" numbers are all just the same, unhelpful answering machine. After being stuck 150 miles away without access to the money I had deposit over a week prior, I expressed my discontent via 2 "warm" (at best) voicemails. My friend wrote via the chat-live option on cbtx website on my behalf what any sane person would describe as a heated, but incredibly valid and to-the-point message critiquing the service provided (or lack-of). I recieved a phone call the following day from the manager, Mrs.Carol Bostian, who informs me that she would be closing my account due to my "strongly worded" message. Â Â I am so sorry Mrs.Bostian chose to take such offense to my sentiments, but I am revolted at her choice to arbitrarily close my account, then arrogantly persist justifying her lies . Flippantly she gave the "reason" that she "exercised her discretion" and closed my account, which, unsurprisingly, is covered by some vague "policy" allowing her to willy-nilly close accounts whenever the wind blows the wrong way. THEN this lunatic "digs" into my banking history to make up some ridiculous fabrication why I am to be blacklisted from ALL cbtx locations (her attempt to quiet me from talking about this situation) . The moral of this story is that this woman is literally volatile. To retaliate against a customers feedback or critiques is not only bad business, but completely unethical. I recorded all conversations with this woman (all of which are being reviewed), and it is evident beyond question she is in the wrong. It is currently being investigated to WHAT extent her actions were incorrect, as it stands right now she absolutely violated privacy agreements (using the unofficial message sent via the live-chat option as my "wish" to have my account closed) humorously in her recorded telephone calls she admits to closing the account because of the message sent, but then backtracks in the end of the call and says it was because of some "discovery". I would STRONGLY urge others to reconsider banking here, especially at this branch while this hateful person sits behind her desk. You may think you are going to be the "police" of customer criticism, but there's a distinct line between "folowing policy" and underhanded discrimination. Mrs.Carol Bostian is an unethical, discriminatory liar. Period. Â Â I have sent copies of everything to ALL CBTX branches, and expect not only an apology, but action to be taken to prevent this tyrannical woman from hurting anyone else. I will keep this post updated should CBTX decide to stand behind her, or condemn her abusive behaviour. If CBTX believes it will dribble out some bit on the FDIC'S allowance to terminate based on suspicious or fraudulent activity, think again. This needs to be addressed clearly with relation to my concerns. Not some "umbrella" policy that is (mistakenly) believed t
