Went in to return a brand new air compressor that was given to me as a Father’s day gift. The product had never been opened and was in original factory carton. I did not have a receipt and asked only for store credit to purchase something else. The young man at the return desk was kind and helpful. Since we didn’t have the receipt he was able to look up the receipt using my son’s phone number. He was in the process of completing the return when an elderly gray haired lady employee butted in and said he’s gotta have a receipt. The young man said he found it online. She was having none of it. She insisted he open the box to verify we hadn’t put something else in it. He said it’s never been opened but she told him we could have replaced it with something worthless. He completed the return and apologized. We left and will not be back. That lady needs an intense course on service to the guest doing business with Lowes.

Service???? I had to hunt it down. Then the knowledge base was very limited. So do your own research, because staff isn't necessarily trained.

Everything I was seeking was there, but some of it was not where one would expect (even the help). Kudos to the sales associate who located the "missing lumber" location and then brought it to our checkout register, making Lowe's our one stop after all for the day's yardwork.

This is a terrible place to shop. Very unprofessional from management to many of the associates. Pro Services is a joke. I don't think I've seen Daniel ever go out of his way to engage a customer. If you want a true professional that listens and gets you exactly what you need there are alternatives to Lowes and HD.

I love the fact that they honor disabled veterans by providing 4 Veteran parking spots.

Plumbing, simple 3/4 in solder solder gate valve. Their plumbing section had no lights and was in such disarray that the employee and myself could not even find the box they where supposed to be in let alone find one. What a mess. Gave up and went to Home Depot.
Other departments seem to be better organized. Definitely hit or miss.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received when I called regarding a defective allen + roth 11ft Cantilever Umbrella purchased from another location.
After installing and opening the umbrella, we discovered three holes in the cloth at the top. Understandably concerned, I contacted your customer service line seeking guidance on the return process. The service team member I spoke with informed me that I needed to return the item to the original store.
While I appreciate the adherence to store policy, I must emphasize my disappointment with the lack of empathy and understanding displayed during our conversation. Installing such umbrellas involves considerable effort, including pouring sand into the foundational base to ensure stability. Instead of offering any empathy for the inconvenience and effort I had already expended, the representative seemed solely focused on policy procedures.
As someone who lives nearby and values good customer service, this experience has left me hesitant about continuing to patronize your store. I believe that customer service should extend beyond mere adherence to policies; it should encompass empathy and genuine concern for the customer's experience.
I urge you to review your customer service protocols to ensure that future interactions prioritize understanding and support for customers who encounter issues with their purchases. I hope to see improvements that reflect a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and a resolution to this issue.

if i could have i would have given zero stars or negative stars here. There are two incidents happened with me with the employee. I found them very rude towards me and felt really insulted. I brought a shopping cart while i went in and as i shopping around i kept it aside and was looking for things. I kind of went little far on the same isle and when i came back i found some of the things have been put. One of the employee told it was theirs things. I told them employee i brought the cart and then i wanted to take the things off and that employee was rude to me that i cannot. I told him that they put things in my cart and one top of that he was saying i have to go and get another cart. So unprofessional. It was an oppression towards me and as I was insisting his voice got louder and louder. I dont understand why he would behave with me like that. A good customer service would always and tell the customer that they can use instead he was mishaving. i felt discriminated. Another incident was when i wanted to buy an sprinker head and i was trying to unscrew. One employee approached me even i did not require any customer service and told me that i cannot open it. the sprinker was designed to unscrew and as i know the things well i tightened it but he approached and rudely said you cannot do it. I felt embarrased that i was not able to look for my things freely. it felt bad. Next time i would like to make video and release here if something happens.

Very disappointing customer service from the lead front desk manager - Jennifer. She made me wait on the line on purpose, when literally no one was there in front of me. When asked why, she said NO NO and walked away. Never helped me later, when she was just standing there and talking to other service reps. Not sure why I got that treatment, when I was just asking a question. Anyway someone else helped later.

can i give less than Zero? I’m still mad even after calling customer service. i am 65 year old woman who ordered 7 50lb bags of sand and was told by a male garden worker to bring him a cart to the back of the store if not then load it myself which shocked me. i mean out of no where this guy at 8 am has a chip on his shoulder and refused then he just lefti complained to Brian who i was told was a manager and that the day before had to wait for help while 3 male garden workers sat on pallets talking all the while other customers needed help too. Brian ended up loading the bags which was nice. To make matters worse the store at that time generally busy wasn’t but it’s like the workers lately at this store are taking their frustration out on customers. i get they are tired maybe over worked .. hello so are we all but rudeness is not acceptable. I will be going to home depot which is a much closer store, known for ghosting customers too but at least i expect that from them. it’s really sad because i’ve had some great customer service at lowes Garland and even murphy but the last several months it just seems employees are short and discourteous even down right rude. won’t be in business much longer if this keeps up. if it’s about pay maybe they need to find something different it’s obviously with short staffing there is a deeper issue here!
