This review is in correlation with a specific stylist and not the entire store. My first visit was with Mrs. Joanna and the cut as well as the customer service was excellent, 5 ⭐️ for her. Now, my second visit was with Kris. By far the worst haircut ever. She was so rough and heavy handed that I had sores in my scalp and forehead from her jamming the guard comb of the clippers into my head as well as scraping me with the comp. She seemed very irritated like she was not having a good day. As I’m explaining to her what I wanted, she was very snippy and condescending. She had no desire to converse or ensure that I was comfortable and sprayed my head with so much water, I was beginning to think I was apart of some sort of prank. As a local business owner I would never allow an individual like this to work in any of my establishments. My latest visit with Hope was hands down the epitome of customer service in the service industry. Do I recommend this Sports Clips? Yes, just not Kris!

When you need that back to school haircut last minute Sports Clip is our choice everytime. We had Mrs. Bre and she did an awesome job!! One wanted a touch up on his mullet and the other wanted a taper fade flat style.

I've been going to the Montgomery location for many years and have always been satisfied. When my favorite stylist left I was distraught but quickly found another regular stylist at this location. Imagine my surprise when I went in to get a cut and my favorite stylist, STEPH, was back!
Always getting my cut right and perfectly going through all my various style choices!
Don't believe the one ugly review. Some people can't be satisfied when their rudeness doesn't get them what they want.
STEPH, and the whole crew in Montgomery, always provide great service!

The people working there (at least the location I went to) are friendly, professional, and up to the task. The lady I had was kind and quick, yet kept my haircut clean and neat. Definitely going to keep coming back!

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut at Sports Clips, thanks to Jennifer! She was incredibly kind, paid close attention to every detail, and really took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend asking for Jennifer if you want top-notch service and a fresh cut done right! 💇♂️👏

My fiancé went in for a haircut at 6:36 PM — well within the posted business hours, as this place closes at 7 PM. From the moment he walked in, the young lady working there was visibly irritated by his arrival and immediately started complaining that they close at 7 and still needed to clean. Despite being open, she began turning away other customers who arrived after him, which is a terrible look for any business.
Even worse, the haircut itself was rushed and unprofessional. She was cutting rapidly, pinching his scalp, and even scraped his back with the clippers due to how fast she was trying to get it over with. He had to ask her to slow down, which is unacceptable — no customer should have to beg for basic care and respect during a service they’re paying for.
If someone doesn’t want to do their job properly or is unwilling to serve customers during actual business hours, then they should not be working in customer service — period. If cleanliness is such a priority, then schedule enough time after closing for it, instead of punishing paying customers for showing up while the place is still open.
The management seriously needs to address this issue. Turning customers away, rushing through services, and treating people rudely is not just bad customer service — it’s damaging to the business as a whole. We won’t be returning, and I truly hope the manager takes a hard look at the staff and their work ethic. Young, blonde female with glasses.

Terrible, went in with one person in front of me and 3 ladies working. After signing in the Lineup said 4 min wait. The first stylist finished and packed her bag and went to the break room finished for the day. The second stylist finished and went on break. My 4 min wait ended up being 50 min for a less than 10 min cut. I don’t usually mind waiting but the Lineup Board should be somewhat accurate. This used to be the only place I got a hair cut but I will not be back. There should be a manager there at all times or at least someone capable of keeping a business running efficiently.

Heather is absolutely amazing she saved my hair from a bad experience next door and made me feel very beautiful afterwards Morgan was also very helpful. Friendly atmosphere I will definitely be back
