Under new management and seem to be giving it a good go, but not always prompt on returning calls on follow-up issues. Receptionist is usually friendly, the vets and nurse techs are great. We'll give them another try, but I do miss the former management and vet team they assembled.

Ok first of all I’m pissed because everything had been going just fine with you all, very nice staff and then yesterday I took Red in to have his sutures removed and whoever so called removed them left a piece in his skin which was totally obvious from my untrained eye, that’s very disrespectful and unprofessional and not only that when I was on my way and said I would be a few min late they said I never had an appt and that it was for next day when I had just talked to Shannon and I asked what is the latest we could come in that day for his sutures and she said 5 like wow never ever going back there in life

From the time we moved to Montgomery, we used to go to the Woodforest hospital (now re-named Lone Star - how original). Dr. Schulz was the best vet we've ever met. He not only treated our horses amazingly well, but when we found a kitten that had been very badly injured he helped us get him surgically fixed and is now one of the great joys of our family. Well, Dr. Schulz retired as one does (and much to my sadness). The new vet is, unfortunately, only $$ driven. There is NO compassion AT ALL for our animals. The clinic will now no longer let you order prescriptions from Chewy - if you want a prescription you pay $20 for each one each year - to be clear - the $20 is the fee they charge for you to go elsewhere - it doesn't actually get you the prescription. The final nail in the coffin was when they announced that they would not be providing emergency equine services during the holidays ... I guess if my horse colics or breaks a leg, we just watch him slowly die. I've never EVER in all my 62 years seen someone so hell bent on money verses compassion. RUN from them. OH - and the owner filed nearly all of the staff that we loved so well, and hired the new staff to come over from his old clinic in Baytown. what a piece of work.

Just brought my dog Hank here for the first time and was overwhelmed at how great his care was. Spectacular. From the original call to schedule the appointment through his total care, this was an outstanding experience. Wonderful, caring people and beautiful facility. Highly recommend any dog, cat or other animal owner to give them a try. I know you will be as happy as we were with the care and concern from everyone at Woodforest.

I love this vet clinic. The staff and the vet is very sweet! They are very knowledgeable. They are very clear on instructions and they take their time explaining and going over things. They are really good to my furr babies. I highly recommend!

Great care was given to my new cow pony. He just got here from Amarillo after not being touched for several years. They were gentle, and understanding the whole visit. Teeth float, and all vaccines were much cheaper than expected. They also were happy to chip check a kitten I had found in the airport parking lot and helped me get in contact with its owner! Very happy we found them!

I have been using them since we moved to the Willis area, approx 5-6 years. They have always treated my animals with love. I recommend them to everyone!!
