This company is very reliable. My experience with them was very good, they are very organized and very professional. I felt very comfortable being there doing my personal taxes, for that reason I will continue to be a future client of theirs because it is something that one does once a year and the best thing is to do it with professionals like them, I recommend it to everyone who is reading my reference.

My wife and I had our taxes done at Agile. We had a terrible experience. She submitted a Google Review recently. Here is an update. Agile's managing partner Yvonne "Marie" Kelley has yet to return our calls and emails. We did, however, notice that there are 3 new 5 star reviews within the last day or 2 (after my wife's review). This from a company that had 2 reviews in the last 2 years and 5 total before my wife's review. Seems very shady. We also did get an email stating that the average person must know to ask for a fee schedule. Agile does not post fees so the average person must know that the $310 they are paying to get their taxes done does not cover their taxes. There is a $50 fee to make sure they information you are giving them is correct. They call this a "due process" fee. And there are fees for multiple documents and scenarios that the average person would not know unless they were given a fee list. Don't forget that they make you sign a contract stating that no matter how many "fees" they charge, you have to pay. This place has shady business practices.

Agile has been our trusted tax preparer and advisor for the past several years. Running a construction company is difficult enough, so we rely on Agile to make sure we are always in compliance. During tax time, we can rest easy knowing that all our forms are filed timely and ACCURATELY!
Their fees and prices are reasonable (certainly not cheap) but you get what you pay for! The Agile Team are friendly, courteous, professional and they always respond to all our phone calls and emails. We HIGHLY recommend AGILE to anyone looking for a responsive, trustworthy, thorough and personable team!

Do NOT get your taxes done here. My husband and I set up a meeting with a CPA (Shelley) on 3/12/24. She looked through all of our documents, asked us questions, and stated everything looked good. She said they were finishing up a business tax deadline and would start on our return the next week. She did not give me prices for services, but we had our taxes done there last year and it was $360. They made us sign a contract for tax preparation. I had not heard anything by 3/25 so I called and was told the taxes were "in process" and no one was available to speak with to ask what that meant. So, I emailed Shelley. I explained that I knew we would have to pay, I just needed to know how much asap to pull the money together. She stated they would be started the next week. On 4/1/2024 I was emailed by a tax assistant stating that I was missing a document. I emailed back what I had available immediately. The assistant said she would move forward and never told me there was a problem with my document. I didn't hear anything by 4/3 so I called for an update. I was told they could not accept the document I sent 2 days ago that the assistant accepted. Then, I find out that I owe over $6K that has to be paid in 12 days. No one ever told me if my document in question was added to the return. No one would speak with me. I called the Managing Partner multiple times with the number provided by the staff. The voicemail was not even set up. I finally went in and the CPA Shelley made a bunch of excuses why my tax return was not completed earlier. She did not acknowledge that she told me they would be started on 3/18, though she kept saying that doing taxes was a great responsibility. She was actually mad at me because I was lied to! Then she wanted to charge me $680 to prepare my return... $100 of which was for a consultation that we had with her and she looked over all of our documents and said we had everything she needed, when we obviously did not! They charged $310.00 for the return. Then, $155 for a Schedule 8, when I got all the data and all they had to do was transfer it to the schedule. Then charged $15 for another document that was a copy of the Schedule 8. Talk about hidden fees! No apologies for anything. She was actually argumentative and rude. I have a Master's Degree and she looked at me like an idiot and said "you know, taxes are hard and 3 weeks is not a long time around tax season for a return." Simple math is not hard, especially hen you are imputing numbers into a computer system. You pay for taxes because the tax laws change all the time and no one has time to read them with full time jobs, kids, etc. Agile isn't performing brain surgery. H&R Block does taxes same day, they guarantee their work, and they have better customer service. It will be where I go next year for sure because I do not even know if my return is correct at this point. It seems like Agile has a lot of issues with clients that has nothing to do with how much the clients owe the IRS and a LOT to do with their professional behavior and customer service. And... I kept all of the correspondence and will be calling the Better Business Bureau. This place is a scam!

The staff at Agile are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I had an IRS problem and Marie worked hard to solve it. I signed a Power of Attorney, since she is a CPA, and she was able to work with the IRS on my behalf. Thank you!
