Store is good, fuel pumps are terrible. Never maintained and usually only half the pumps work.

The cake I got - which was a white cake with strawberry buttercream frosting- was loved by everyone at work! We were able to get 16 slices out of the 10inch cake which fed most of us. My favorite part was that I was able to get my cake and back inside my car in 7 minutes.

The cake decorator in the bakery at this location is very rude and she can not decorate cakes. We got our son a birthday cake here and it was the worst decor job I have seen I paid $40. For a cake that look like a kid done it.

Grocery store is awesome! The pharmacy is a different story. It takes too long to get medication. Not certain why they don’t have more people working there. It’s the only pharmacy! Today, I waited in the drive thru line for 10 mins early, reversed and left! Went back just now (an hour later) and it’s another 20 min wait in the drive thru!! SMH.

Poor Parking lot design . Too much landscaping and one way parking isles make create traffic jams. Mont belvieu really needs another grocery store option because this H‑E‑B is having a hard time keeping up.

If I could put quarter of a star or even no star, I would. Their hiring process is a joke. They put everyone in a group interview even if it's for different positions and ask ridiculous questions. The silliest one was coming up with something to sell as if anyone working there is going to have to say what's going to be sold in the stores. They do not call or email to inform you that they're not choosing to hire you. If you try to call them to find out any type of advice what you did wrong, so you can improve in the future, they don't care to take your phone calls and say that they're in a meeting, the staff catches an attitude on the phone, and sometimes slam the phone down to hang it up. One person would be asking the questions while another is writing god alone knows what, but the one writing NEVER speaks, even if asked a question, she just nods. Why would I trust anyone to judge my character/skills for a job if they can't ask a few questions and write. Whoever trained her for a managerial position should retrain her or they both should be fired. They say things like you've shown good judgment and managerial skills but try to stick you in a part time position, OUTSIDE IN THE GAS STATION. Incompetent hiring process and staff. A bunch of young minded individuals in higher positions they shouldn't be in.

This is the absolute worst example of customer service I've ever seen. When it comes to how they treat you and talk to you, it's worse that Comcast or the DMV. I understand the sign said 10 items in the self checkout, and I had 14.... but there was no line and 4 or 5 open registers. It was closest to the door I came in at and wanted to quickly check out and go. I got approached by the 2 girls chatting and told I had to go to a register. I asked for a manager.... and here's where you say "why make a fuss. What's the big deal" The big deal is that customer service and appreciation is all but non existent. I have been a loyal heb customer for years, the closest one is 22 miles from my house, and I still make the drive. The manager came up and just said exactly what the other girls said. So I left. I called customer service for the store and was told by the girl that answered that they absolutely will not allow more than 10 items in self check out. I ran thru several "what if" scenarios, to which she repeatedly replied "at our store, we train our partners to not allow self checkout of more than 10 items" It is was it is. It's been I good run, but I'll just pay the higher prices at my local small town grocery from now on. But I will continue to spread the word about how you treat your customers.

I love H‑E‑B. The employees are so nice, and unlike many other stores - they actually have employees. A little self service is ok if you are a buying just a couple of items. But I mainly love H‑E‑B because they always have checkers and baggers in their lines. Who wants to self service a cart full of groceries? It is so much quicker to have someone scanning and bagging the items. That what I like about H‑E‑B. THE EMPLOYEES!

HEB is great, but to find out that an amazing employee that worked there for almost 5 years in the bakery got little to none recognition for all the hard work she put in the beautiful cakes she created, the hundreds of thousands of tortillas she made, the unexpected extra hours she gave or all the crazy, hectic things that happen in the bakery (I used to work with her there) is so sad. I thought HEB cared more about their partners. She deserved more than what she got.

Gas is overpriced along with the groceries, and now they are going generic! Lots of stuff you can't find here. I have to go to Walmart of all places. I can't stand going to Walmart! Thank you HEB for running the good grocery store out of town and then forcing me to shop elsewhere.
