One of the best experience we had with super friendly and helpful staff of the store. Early July we I and my wife were heading toward a month long trip in beautiful north west national and state parks. near Monahans TX the support of the solar panels on top of the van broke and we needed to temporary fix it. Google search directed us to True Value hardware store. James and other staff helped us a lot to do the job. They even let us use some of their tools such as ladder, drill, etc. Within a couple of hours we were on the road again. Many many thanks for all the help. It was truly a southern hospitality.

The lady's there are super, as soon as you walk in the door they are greeting you and helping get what you need... The place is clean. Bathrooms clean. Parking lot is great. They have everything. If they don't , they will get it..

I like the idea of having a third hardware store in Monahans, however, I do not like shopping here. Every time I go in this place, I am bird dogged. Ladies watching my every move. Like they are expecting me to steal something. Standing at the end of the isle, arms folded and watching my every move. I will no longer give them my business.

I had a water leak in the apartment. I went because every time I pass there are no customers and I thought it would be quick,
They gave me a part that didn't work,
I want to change it and they didn't want to.
Super annoying, a young woman, according to the manager, was the one who recommended the product to me and it didn't take her an hour to return and she said no because it is used.
Besides, I was going to buy or exchange for other things but no, I came out very upset.

Simply home and ranch in Monahans area is a true value hardware store and also they have furniture and items for your farm for your livestock the owner is wonderful and her crew is amazing

Help was very professional. The gentleman that helped me knew exactly what I needed and where it was. He even informed me if it was not the correct size, I could return it. Now that is not normal in Monahans! I would have given 5 stars if this had not been my first time shopping there.

Go here before you go to Ace hardware!!! I went to ace for a couple of things and when they realized they didn’t have ONE of the several things I needed, they ditched me, even though I still needed help. The workers at True Value are so sweet and beyond helpful! And they usually have what ace hardware has at a better price. I’ll be making this my go to hardware store in monahans, tx!
