When the Texan first opened up ,it had great food, great service you could order a delicious burger with frys and it was the best , also the barbecue sandwiches were really good.
It's gone down in food quality , the barbecue sandwiches are gross , some parts of the food are hard and crunchy.
I tried to order a burger and fry , there recipte machine was in error suspiciously all 3 were down the same way .
Then after 30 seconds my order was canceled coldly no explanation, no reason just straight up canceled.
Welp I took a look at the cook , I was yeah so it begins the decay of customer service here. That guy was not having it ,his face said it all all he was wanting to do was maintain the sandwiches such as keeping stock of them. He may have been the one to cancel my burger.
No worries but Now let me give you a mental picture here ,there use to be older classy ladies that cooked ,that maintained the place ,where'd they go ?! Lol please recover for us Texan !

God-awful sandwiches. It was like eating a homeless man’s cardboard sign. Clean store and decent selection, but even that couldn’t makeup for that trash between bread. 1 star.

Staff were friendly, and the restrooms were clean, and I can tell this is a really busy location, so Kudos. The Texan really is one of the best run chain of stores in the state.

This place sucks, do not waste your money. Weird worker lady started screaming across the store about not selling me beer for zero reason at all when i had my ID and i’m 24 yo. Ridiculous customer service i’ve never met this crazy lady before and I didn’t do anything to deserve that treatment. Overpriced anyways. Manager and other workers did not help me out.

Nice store. Driving through Monahans last night (7/27) we stopped in and bought 3 bumper stickers, and 2 sliced barbecue sandwiches for $45.69. 😳 The sandwiches were AWFUL we couldn’t eat them and had to throw them out because they TASTED TERRIBLE and were stinking up my jeep. They were 9.99 a piece what a total waste of money. 😡

This gas station was a hootin tootin good time. Upon first entering find a cold case full of delectable dessert not unlike what you would find at Buccees. The bathrooms were cleaner than your husbands boots on a Sunday morning. I got a taco that warmed my belly for the long ride ahead, and my brother got chicken tenders that he described as, “Bussin.” Overall, a 10/10 “Texan” experience. We’ll be stopping through here again.

Nice clean facility,Maybe it’s west Texas, maybe it’s biden inflation, but the prices In this store are too damn high. Bring your pocket book, bring the check book, and the banker. For example, a toaster sandwich for a breakfast meal is 6.99Remember those Bugs sunflower seed tubes that used to be .99? They’re 2.49.Chip bags that were .99? They’re also 2.49 and now in a smaller bag. Idk about y’all but I’ll let that stuff sit
