It is described as one of the best rest areas, superb for an overnight rest, and a preferred stop for a brief respite. The restrooms are very nice, VERY clean, odor-free, and fresh smelling. The indoor spaces are noted, including a small but informative exhibition hall with historical pictures, plaques, and displays about the area's rich history, which provides a fascinating and educational pause. The architecture is interesting, fashioned after an aircraft wing structure. The grounds are well managed and clean, with minimal road noise. There are activities for kids, vending machines with plenty of options, and separate areas for trucks and cars. It is a great place to walk a dog, have a picnic, and take a rest, offering a harmonious balance of practical needs and comfort.
