“Completely honest and unbiased review. We are retired and travel frequently. E thought that as a newer hotel Candlewood would be a nice place to rest after a day on the road. The room needs major cleanup. The bathroom area floor were filthy from previous occupants. The shower couldn’t be used because the curtain is too short and would have flooded the floor. Carpets and tile in the room need to be swept and vacuumed. Desk staff was NOT pleasant. Acted as though she had a rough day. Coffee is in a machine and not fresh not drinkable. No breakfast or other food options”

“Okay place. Clerk was nice. But seems like some issues with help. Tile floors were done poorly and break area neededto really be scrubbed with fresh mop water. Very dirty floors.Rooms: Nice room. Very Pleasant.”

“I had no context of the town of Monahans. But on a long road trip passing through, I’m so glad I chose this hotel! Clean, comfortable, and we got a great rate! The hotel is tucked down a road so you’re not directly off the freeway. Next to a nice neighborhood. Thank you for a very pleasant stay! We know where to stop if we travel through again!
Nearby activities: Right across the street is a large event center. I’m sure there are fun activities there. We also enjoyed a 10-minute drive to the Monahans Sandhills Park. It was SO unique and fun to run around on the beautiful dunes.
Safety: I felt very comfortable in the location. It’s right next to a very nice neighborhood.”
