Love the rv park we travel where ever the pipe line takes us. They have a pool and it says ice cold it’s amazing. It’s fully gated and you have a pass code so safe for kids. They have a laundry mat on site with change machine. Also having mail delivered is important and they have that to. Price is very good. May this place be your next stay ❤️??

Our family travels for pipeline work and we’ve stayed all over the United States. We have NEVER stayed in a campground that tops Desert Sands. We lived here from 2019-2020 and if I could go back, I would! It’s perfect for kids! Our son made so many friends and everyone was so kind. Jeff & Joey (owners) came through the campground every night and would always socialize. They constantly were doing things to improve the campground. Not to mention, they rode out a tornado with us in the on-site laundromat because they didn’t want their tenants to be alone. Hands down the absolute best. We tell everyone about our time in West TX at Desert Sands!

Great place to stay! Jeff and his son have done a phenomenal job catering to people who end up near Monahans, especially for work. I’ve never seen a campground have such nice laundry facilities. The restrooms and showers are a nice bonus. Kiddos enjoy the playground. The gate with app access is so convenient. I can honestly say, that this is one of very few places we have stayed (while out working & not vacationing) that we will miss. Peaceful place for a night or two while traveling through, yet homey enough to stay longer if needed! ! If we find ourselves back out near here, this is where I want to stay!

My wife and I were passing through and were in a pinch for a place to camp for the night. We pulled up between 9-10 pm and called one of the numbers on the sign at the gate. They answered immediately and situated us for the night. The site seems pretty secure with a code operated gate.Their customer service is great. The staff is kind and courteous. We were only there for a night, but we greatly appreciated their hospitality.

Jeff and his son were very friendly. The rates were reasonable, and the shower and laundry area were always clean. I was staying for work and most of the people there were doing the same. So, it was very quite. This park has internet which worked well until the ice hit, but that is to be expected. You will not find a more friendly bunch of folks to do business with.

This places ladies will lie for your cheating husband or spouse like and not good at it either so I’m filling a lawsuit your welcome sir sincerely Clint Renshaws very upset wife who’s outside there now waiting on you all to wake up and get this . You have screwed up allowing your business to be altered and well hopefully lost by going with a adulterous man and lieing to his wife that drove home to him 9 hours

Jeff answered the phone (a lot of people don't) and let us know they had a space for us that night. He and his brother automatically opened the gate when we called them as we pulled up and came to greet us shortly after that, even though it was a dark, 9 PM on a Sunday. They let us settle and sleep, then came to us for the very reasonable payment. It's a dirt lot, but several of the spaces are covered, and you're in the middle of dust-bowl central anyway. They have a huge laundry, clean showers, and a covered swimming pool. Bottom line - a very comfortable and reasonably priced overnight stop for this tired road warrior.
