Besides the weird vibes I received from the security guard and another worker. Went in to do a simple deposit for my mother. Maybe they are just slow but seemed intentional how long the teller took. Also didn’t say a word to me even after I asked him a few questions then once he finished transaction with me his whole demeanor changed and was polite to the gentleman after me. I decided to go in cause I was going to open a business account because my current one does not accept money deposit but I think I’ll continue with what I have now after this experience.

I want to support a Black -owned bank, but they make it very hard. Disorganized, slow, unhelpful. I was unable to open a business account for the most asinine and silly reason ever. I set up my personal account in 2021. Made a deposit. Set up my online banking profile. Left it alone. I wanted to check my balance and suddenly my online banking profile is not active anymore. No one can explain why. I am being put through all sorts of hoops to unlock it for no reason whatsoever. This is not a user friendly organization. Expect to be annoyed and inconvenienced.

Tellers attitude had me take my money elsewhere. W-people smile to me when they want my money. I expect the same from this bank. May close my account if customer service does not improve. You need me, not the other way around.

I DONT KNOW IF IVE BEEN BANKING WITH THEM A YEAR OR OVET, I THINK OVER..BUT SWITCHING FROM WELLS FARGO TO A BLACK OWNED IS THE WORST THING I COULD DO...NO TEMPORARY CARDS, ALONG WITH MISSOURI CITY STORE ALWAYS CLOSED, AND PHONES ALWAYS JACKED UP IDK WHATS WORST

Unfortunately my dealing with them was nothing short of disappointing. I tried to work with them for a business loan. I initially contacted them for guidance on what I needed to do or provide so that I could start my journey. In speaking with Linda at the bank, she led me to believe that we had everything needed in order to go to the next step, in which we attempted. They use an outside company (not black owned) to facilitate this which...ok. Whatever. Anyways long story short, after months of communication with the outside party, they tell us the bank is not interested in processing our application. My question was why, which we never got a straight answer. Of course I called the bank left a message with Linda and someone higher up. I even emailed and never got a response. In my opinion it was bad customer service and for that they will not get my business for even the simplest of services. During this time, their were reps, president, loan people, whoever, in the media asking the community to support them and encouraging them to apply for business loans through them because they are black owned. In my opinion I was treated better a BOA, and that says a lot. Anyways hope someone else has a better experience with them regarding this. But its a no for me.

The young Hispanic girl who works at the Missouri city location is terrible. Worst customer service experience ever ,literally every time I come to withdraw or make a deposit and she makes me feel that I wish I would’ve never came. The overall service of other employees is fine and this bank is great for a savings account. Just beware of the young Hispanic woman with dark hair. Very nasty attitude:

Love that the bank offered the school to get all of the kids bank accounts. My son is 20yrs old now and had had an account since he was 8yrs old. Bank here!!!!
