Read the Negatives before the positives. Reason? Notice all the positive reviews of people with just 1 review mentioning names of "how great the staff is", how " friendly " they are, how they always tell me " good morning " etc.... It is to many to mention and it is always the same people and it only goes for a certain time frame. The negatives about the hotel are realistic and certainly concerns that I would have before staying here.I am not saying do not stay here, I am just saying you will know what to expect if you do.

I'll preface by saying that I've stayed at Marriott properties all around the world more than 500 nights in the last 5 or so years but only recently joined Bonvoy.I stayed at this property for 4 nights using Bonvoy points. It was 12k more expensive here than the Courtyard on I-69, but the location was a tad more convenient. Check in went easy, but multiple, day-of-arrival morning messages were not replied to until check-in time in late afternoon. Bonvoy app offers special pillows and extra towels, but although requested on app, I had to ask for them and no special pillows were available.Room itself was clean, modern and large, but no where to sit except desk chair and bed. Room was quiet and AC worked great. Tons of outlets available. Bath towels and toilet tissue were more Motel 6 than Marriott. Shower water pressure wasn't amazing. Hallways often had take-out trash that people put outside their door. If this isn't a polícy, it should be discouraged. If it is a policy, trash should be picked up regularly.Pool looked great, but I didn't use. Breakfast was ample and coffee was very good. The little store was well-stocked and front desk was always attended with friendly staff.Overall, definitely not bad (like the Residence Inn Troy, Mi (puke-a-rama) but even being the lowest tier of Marriott, I still expected more Marriott-like amenities and service (esp. on app).

I appreciate everything and everyone at this hotel especially Shaun, Gelvin, Ms. Vickie and Kimori. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by without them asking me how my day was , if I need anything for me or my family since my stay. I really recommend this hotel.Rooms: The rooms are nice and clean my family and I have been there almost 2 months and house keeping is there every morning. It feels so good to come back to my room smelling good, the bedding is nice and clean. Even the bathrooms are clean too.Nearby activities: You have a Star Cinema grill , a few nice restaurants, if you like live music it’s one that plays jazz, Different shopping stores and etc.Safety: Staying here at this hotel with my family I feel very safe. No one is hanging out there rooms or even outside of the hotel.Food & drinks: Complimentary Breakfast every morning which is good especially the coffee.

Headquarters further clarified that every Fairfield location is owned by a private owner and when their investigation suggests a problem such as the one we have explained, they will get in touch with higher management than Jeff Hoover, perhaps the owners, to make them see the problem there, since the Marriott name is attached to the location and they want to protect their reputation.Meanwhile, I am starting to act by posting this review. My next action will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. My fiancé and I have already informed Marriott headquarters that we are looking into the option of hiring an attorney in order to take legal action. But at this point, we are trying to explore if the legal action should be taken against the Fairfield location, which means the private owners if they approve of this kind of business practice, or should it be Marriott, because Marriott has a responsibility to lay general rules. If the Fairfield owners or Marriott deny this practice or say they disapprove of it, should the legal action be taken against Gelvin, who is a direct party involved in this entire mess, or should it be against Jeff Hoover, who has been informed but has not given a resolution to customer care or to us and in fact refuses to speak to us at all when the matter is very clear and we have offered him documentary evidence of the locked-in rate for the December reservation made in November. My fiancé and I have been journalists for a long time and at this point we are also considering if we should contact newspapers and news channels so we can use our experience to highlight this problem with documentary evidence.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was satisfactory, but there were some areas that could be improved. Upon arrival, we attempted to check in early but was informed that no rooms were available. The front desk attendant assured me he would call when a room became ready, but unfortunately, I did not receive a call. It would have been appreciated if they had followed through on their promise. The hotel lobby and parking lots were well-maintained and clean, which was a positive aspect of my stay. However, upon entering the room, I noticed some issues in the bathroom. There was visible pink mold in the shower, and the shower head was clogged, causing water to spray in different directions. Additionally, the baseboards and trim around the bottom of the shower appeared to be either moldy or just very dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. The bed was comfortable, although it was on the firmer side, which may not be to everyone's liking. The pillows, however, were excellent - soft and squishy, providing a good night's sleep.Overall, I would consider staying at this hotel again, but I believe there is room for improvement, particularly in the training of the housekeeping staff regarding bathroom cleanliness.

This hotel is on a main road and right outside of Quail Valley. It's convenient to food, shopping and friends who may live in the area.

The people working here are attentive and warm. The place itself is not half as nice as its staff.Stayed in #207. Room is dirty. Drain is clogged with dirty back flow. Sheet is stained. Worst part, the dam n room has this buzzing noise coming on every 5-10 min, 24 hrs a day. There is also this boombox noises constantly. I am going to guess that since is horrible room is right above the cafe so the noises are from the speaker playing as well as from the dam n equip. It’s a torture.Whatever you do, stay away from #207.BTW, if the “management “ replies back to this review saying something like “ Blah blah I apologize for the inconvenience, blah blah, making improvements, blah blah, hope to see you again, blah…”. That’s just their bot auto replying.

By far my favorite hotel to stay at in the area. The person at the front desk when I go, Shaan, is always extremely helpful and kind and makes me feel extremely welcome! I highly recommend this hotel.
