Called three days before asking if they have a specific oil for oil change for a 23 Kia sorento and made sure to let the lady who took the phone know it’s a 0 to 30. She said we do these Kia’s all day and quoted me $85 and $ per liter more the car takes! Came there at 7am according to appointment and comes back in 10 mins saying we can get your specific type of oil but it’s going to be $171! The whole point of me calling three days earlier was to know how much it would cost and if they had it! They not only didn’t have it (granted they said it would only take 15mins to get the new one which is totally understandable) but made me drive early in the morning for them to say it’s going to cost twice! Nice staff however poor knowledge about the products and service!

Good service and good customer service. This was my initial review before my last appointment 12/4/23. There is a lot of back and forth with pricing. 10/24/23 I took my truck in for leak and I was charged 79.98 diagnostic fee and they replaced the washer fluid reservoir. On 11/4/23 I took my truck back in for a leak and was charged a 69.98 fee again so they replaced radiator assembly. On 12/4/23 I took it back in for leak again and was charged 79.98 diagnostic fee again. When I picked up my truck and I was on the way home and I started hearing a knocking noise so I called back and they told me to bring it back tomorrow for them to check out and I did. As soon as I got there to drop off the truck the first thing he said that there was a 79.98 diagnostic fee and I told him that I am not paying another diagnostic fee and left. I took my truck to Christian brothers in Pearland. The first thing there done was walked out to my truck and saw the hood was not closed then he test drove it and there was no more noise and I didn’t pay a diagnostic fee. I called back to the Missouri city location and told them what the issue was and he apologized. They are price gouging with that diagnostic fee and repairs. Every time I sent it in for the leak there was a different problem but none resolved my issue so I will not be utilizing that location services anymore. I am going to notify my credit card and the BBB regarding issues. I am a single person trying to maintain my husband truck who passed away and I’m not getting honesty and that breaks my heart.

This literally is one of the finest businesses that I've had the great fortune to experience! Each and every person I've spoken to or assisted me was totally professional, polite and helpful! I highly recommend this business for the quality of their work, fair pricing and making me feel they truly valued my patronage! A rare find, especially when it comes to automotive repair businesses!

First things first: This is a franchise business and not a family business. Each franchise has their own rules. For example, this franchise would not accept certain car warranties but another franchise may.Went there to have my seat adjustment motor fixed as it had stopped working. As with all garages, they wanted a computer diagnostic fee to investigate anything electrical. So after parting ways with $149.50 I was told that the seat adjustment motor was gone and to fix it would be about $960. I did tell them this was sporadic but they were convinced the motor was gone. I declined to pay and went to pick up my car only to find a screw at their workshop had deflated my tire so they had to get a tire fix kit to patch my wheel out. All in all, car and customer left worse off and disappointed than when they came in.Went to another garage that was family owned and they wanted $130 for the computer diagnostic fee, so I paid that. They quickly found the problem to be a loose connection and a loose rail alignment. Nothing to do with the motor being gone. They checked physically and reconnected and relaid the wiring, lubed the mechanism and it was working again. They even felt bad about charging me the full computer diagnostic fee as it was so simple and charged me only 50% of the diagnostic fee. The cost to fixing my seat was $0.For their trouble, I gave this family garage a shopping list of things to do and they did it outstandingly. They even checked over my car and gave me non-important recommendations of work to do for the next service. They were just grateful for the business. For their common sense and honesty, I have given them nearly $1500 of upgrade work to do so far and will continue to do so.What can we surmise:a) Christian is a popular garage and I am sure they do good work. The fact that they relied entirely on the computer diagnostic and not physically checked the motor by running power through the seat motor from another source to check it's functioning was negligent and lazy. This is a basic 101 mistake. How many other customers have they misdiagnosed in their haste like this?b) The branch was efficient (incorrect, misleading but efficient) and dealt with things in a serious manner. As a Christian, the first form of charity to another is a smile and a friendly hello to another human being. That was sadly lacking.c) Basic oil and filter change at Christian was quoted at $100. The family owned garage quoted me the same work at $50.I am likely to believe that Christian will do nothing about what has happened. Why should they? They get enough business and one disappointed customer won't stop them sleeping at night. I hope they prove me wrong.

I own an older car and when I need service or think ? I'm having a problem they are the first person I call ? because honesty and customer service is a must. After looking at many automotive reviews in my area I decided to test the waters and went to Christian Brothers Automotive. At the time they were under construction for a new face-lift for their office but it didn't stop them from making sure their customers were taken care of. My Frist visit for me was a slam dunk! I was sold! I now have a automotive shop that I can trust to service my vehicle with honesty!Service: Transmission
