They look like they take care of the animals well. Some idiots came to my property and took my cats, so I went back to rescue them, and they took care of them before giving them back to me. I was quite surprised.

Unfortunately, they have a BIG selection of dogs and puppies! We were able to adopt a puppy for our daughter at no charge! My wife got very emotional when she saw the number of animals available! But they seem very well taken care of!
The Mission facility has great, friendly, and helpful volunteers!

Fairly well kept given the nature of the business. Everyone is very friendly. I love visiting ALL doggies and kitties, not just the babies ?. If I had the room I would adopt several of them.

About Rio Grande Valley Humane Society at Mission
The Rio Grande Valley Humane Society (RGVHS) is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal shelter and adoption center serving the community of the Rio Grande Valley. We provide homeless animals with shelter and care while working to find them new homes. RGVHS serves more than 6,000 animals each year, brought in by municipal animal control officers and surrendered by local residents. All pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (or scheduled for spay/neuter) prior to adoption.
