I was told last week by the branch manager to come before 4:30 and I could open my sons high school account. I came at 4 and Ashley said I can’t because they don’t open accounts after 4. The branch manager was also unavailable due to his birthday. So I was not helped at all and Ashley Jauregui was full of attitude and was very rude. I had asked for a piece of paper and she was very disrespectful. Nicole was nice and was trying to be understanding. But Ashley definitely needs to get customer service training.

When I do not have time to go inside the bank the drive thru option is always my best option.

Waiting time is horrible. They don’t let you know if there’s appointments ahead they just have you wait for hours before telling you.

Like other bank customers have mentioned, to answer a quick question I have to drive in because it is 2023 and they never pick up the telephone

Horrible costumer service, and very rude they close the doors at 4 even though they close at 5. And also they never answer the phone. Corporate should take a look at how this location is being managed

Just lost several business accounts ALL FOR NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE, which they never do (read other comments below). I wanted to give them a try but instead I will just utilize the ones I already do. I bank with them at a personal level and I keep it VERY MINIMAL and even like that my visits with them have been horrible. Upsetting for a bank that states all they can do for you at a one time stop! LIES. Can't even exchange more than 3k in small bills for big bills which for the amount of traffic this bank receives, I don't understand why if they should have enough inventory to satisfy customer needs. Oh wait that is just it, they don't satisfy customer needs so they wouldn't know and that would be on poor management, all these little adults acting like they run the place. Oh and the location of this bank is just horrible. It has too much traffic and very little space to adequate everyone needing to go. They never have enough parking. A very high trafficked bank managed by a total of 5 agents; 3 at the window for drive thru and 2 at the teller for in branch visitation. The only reason I believe this bank is overpopulated was because it dominated that area way before IBC came into the picture. Too many people rather deal with them than go thru the process of opening a new account and all the hassle. It really was the only bank in the area for many years.

This is the second time I've gone to this location and both times I've experienced amazing customer service. Rafael Rodriguez helped me on both occasions with opening different accounts. I went a little out of my way to come to this location and it is worth it.

Avoid this bank if you can. This bank used to be undersized prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, however it is much worse now. There was always a wait inside due to not having enough tellers and very limited drive-through service. However now, the drive-through line is so long that the police have to go there to manage traffic and it could take over an hour or more just to make a bank deposit. Save yourself the headache and drive the extra 15 minutes to the Chase in downtown McAllen. They have 10 times the number of drive-through lanes as this branch does and you can get in and out in a few minutes.
