A surprisingly robust convenience store with a wide selection of foods and a friendly staff. The gas pumps may be a little confusing for those accustomed to more modern fueling systems, though; they still allow you to fuel up first, then go in to pay afterwards. Fortunately the shop itself has a much more modern credit card reader.

The Hunts Brothers Pizza was good this time not burnt it was done just right. and it was cut right not all over pizza that Zondra cut .when she cooks it is usually burnt over cooked .I would recommend mingus quick stop. in all my years living here first time I've ever saw an American flag flying .The new owners Joe And MO are awesome

Prices went out the roof. Sometimes you can get cigarettes. Sometimes you can’t. Raised the cost of a case of beer to 26.00 Bought a gallon of milk today for 5.50 to taste sour milk. Bread is not as fresh as it used to be. According to my husband, only trip to Mingus will to drop in at The Deer Lease or BJ’s for a pizza.

Neat little store in Mingus 'Merica. Im a regular for the Lunch specials. All the food i have tried is amazing with large portions. If you are in the area around lunch time stop by, you wont be disappointed

Great little place off the beaten path. They have awesome cheeseburgers and fresh cut fries. They just started keeping the kitchen open till 8pm wed-Fridays. Every food item I've tried there has been excellent!

I am in the Quickstop every day when I'm not traveling. I have been going there for 30 years, under two different owners and have never been disappointed in the ownership or the services that they provide. I am treated like family and in fact they are my family as well. Congratulations to Lori and Mike Mackey for the great job that they've done making the place much Better than it was before.

Sooo.. I am the cook 5 or 6 days a week here... No I didn't attend college nor do i have a degree.. And I realize that I will probably work til my dying day... What a review huh... What I'm getting at is that I hope that if I have to work my whole life please let it be here. I feel like I have finally found my work family.. When I'm having days thatI'm really not feeling it or nothing is going right Lori is right there trying to fix whatever it is. A great support system with a huge heart. This is an awesome place to be whether you are an employee or a customer. It always feels like HOME!!

Mingus is a little town of - what - 400 people? This convenience store, with gas station, prepared foods, candy, ice cream, mini-grocery is really convenient to the other two neighboring little towns of Gordon and Strawn. Friendly staff, well stocked meats and limited green vegetables. Thursday they serve an excellent steak platter at absolutely rock-bottom prices, and great daily lunch specials like chicken fried steak, meat loaf, pork chops, etc. We eat here two or three times a week.
