Great store with most everything under the sun and convenient for all of Midlothian. Stock up on drinks and snacks before heading to the Community Park just down the road!
Here's a pro tip when shopping the ice cream aisle: Kroger's store brand is delicious and an incredible value that saves me a chunk of change each trip.
UPDATE 7/28/24: Our local Kroger is still a great place to shop... a new grocer will be constructed very close to our home, so we'll see how the competition treats each store!

This is the worst Kroger I have ever been to! On more than one occasion, I have seen, mold and rotten produce in the store, Half of the time you can’t even find anyone in the meat department and they are constantly out of hamburger same with the bakery. Every time I try to find big croissants they seem to be out. The people in the bakery department, or even less helpful than the meat department! This store seriously needs some new management because most of the employees act like they hate their job! We drive all the way from Waxahachie to shop at this Kroger’s because H-E-B in our town is a zoo, but we are soon getting a new store and Kroger‘s will be losing our business! Do a better job in Kroger if you want customers!!!

Been a customer for 5+ years. I spend hundreds of dollars each week with them. Today I placed a pickup order at 11:45 AM (it's a Friday) to get the Friday points bonus for a 5:30PM pick up. At 2:22PM they just cancel the order via e-mail with no information. I called corporate customer service first (not at the store), per the cancellation e-mail. Corporate just apologizing profusely, but said they have no information of why order was cancelled and suggest I order it again or call the store. I called the store PickUp department and asked them why they cancelled my order. First guy who picked up the phone said they are just busy. [Ok great! Why not just kick the order to the following day instead of just CANCELLING it???!!! That's what they have historically done.] The system (at time of order) showed at least a dozen pick up slots for today. After being passed around from associate to associate and being on hold finally I talked to Pick Up manager, she basically told me Kroger corporate is enforcing this cancellation policy now instead of doing the order on the following day after they catch up. She can't do anything about it! They expect me to go back into the same broken system and order again and HOPE AND PRAY it's not cancelled instead of having a system that can actually sense and manage store capacity versus incoming orders. I already left Kroger Pharmacy due to their incompetency, now I'm taking my grocery money elsewhere as well. FIX YOUR SYSTEMS! Stop advertising Friday FUEL POINTS BONUS if you can't intake and process orders (at a minimum honor what you advertise instead of just cancelling the orders because of your inability to manage operations).

The 5 Stars are for the young man bagging groceries I believe his name was Sihn.
His personability was off the charts. Friendly , and covesational skills were top notch. He knew how to pack items with like items. Double bagged the heavy items and tied them so they wouldn’t fall out. A credit to your organization.
Now for the bad…. I give ZERO STARS to Cyndi, I’ve been to her lane several times and the interactions though short are cringeworthy. Never does she engage me upon arrival, I even spoke first this morning by saying “ Hi, how are you. I recieved no answer! There is no interaction during the checkout process and when finished she thrusts out her hand holding the receipt and I get a curt and very insincere thanks have a blessed day…. I guess it would have been a blessed day if I had gone to the lane with a cashier other than Cyndi!
For a company that advertises FRIENDLY AND FRESH she sure misses the mark. If she dislikes her job so much maybe she should seek other employment…..

I just want to give a shout out to the Kroger team. Alicia in the Pharmacy was so helpful in getting me checked out..right at 6pm. Closing time. She did it with a smile and I'm grateful. Great Customer Service..with patience and professionalism. Thanks so much!!
