Beyond horrible experience. The vet let my dog die after spaying it. We received a phone call the night before saying that my dog was “tired and would have to stay the night at the vet” , nothing else was disclosed. The following morning we get a call that my dog is dead. My family went to the vet to check what happened. Being there, the vet had the nerve to say “if I knew she was so important we would’ve taken a different approach” which is absolutely unacceptable. If I am paying you my hard earned money for you to spay my dog I’d assume you know IT IS IMPORTANT. Don’t get your dog spayed here, absolutely trash experience that I would not wish on my worst enemy

This place really made me feel like family, even though I was meeting them for the first time. Our dogs loved them very much and we couldn’t be happier with the care and kindness from everybody at the office.

Dr Rook is the best and the staff all took great care of my Dixie...Very reasonable and affordable pricing now that's what I call animal lovers not just in it for the money! I was quoted 2,000 for my Dixie and he done it where I could afford it and was able to have her surgery sooner instead of it being postponed or turning into emergency surgery
I can't thank him enough and the care and text messages I received with updates❤️

Phenomenal in care and reasonable with their fees. They have compassion and expertise in treating pets without doing unnecessary treatment as other vets do to rack up the revenue. Love the doctor and the staff.

I have heard so many great things about the doctors and staff here so I took my 9 month old kitten to be spayed. The surgery went really well and I no longer hear the " cat calls " every hour of the day cause she won't go back in heat. Poor thing I felt awful for her. Thanks 14th street!

My dog recently became very ill and within a couple days I thought she was going to die. Thankfully 14th street has walk in appointments on Fridays because every vet in town is booked for months. We waited outside that morning and I really didn't think she was going to make it inside. But they called her name and within 10 minutes the vet knew exactly what it was and was scheduling her
for surgery. I didn't want to leave her but knew she was in the best place. Originally he told me she would need to stay all weekend, but some miracle happened and she was up and wanting out of there, and I had her back home by 4. She spent the weekend shaking and sleeping but now 4 days later she is back to barking at the squirrels and stealing her brother's treats. This vet is one of the good ones. I had just taken my male dog to a different vet at the start of last week for a uti and they did everything but test his urine to start with, so his visit and only antibotics cost me more than her entire surgery here, and took half my savings. We will only come to this office from now on. They aren't trying to break you because your pet needs help. Yall are the best and you saved my dogs life while still allowing me to be able to feed my family. Thank you for what you do. You are truly a godsend.

This vet and his entire staff are filled with kindness and compassion. Pricing and treatment options are beyond fair compared to any other vet in the area. Highly recommended, even if it’s a commute from where you live it’s entirely worth it.
