During my recent stay at the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Midland, Texas, as a Titanium Elite member, I encountered several housekeeping issues that significantly impacted my stay. My expectations for Marriott properties, especially as a frequent guest and loyal customer, are high regarding cleanliness and service.Initially, the first room assigned to me had cleanliness issues, with visible remnants of vomit on the side of the bed, dried up in the carpet, and on the bed skirt. This was not only unhygienic but also unacceptable in a hospitality setting.Upon reporting this, I was moved to a second room, which unfortunately did not meet Marriott’s usual standards either. The room appeared to have not been vacuumed, and the beds were improperly made. A noticeable concern was the placement of the throw pillows, which are known not to be washed regularly, in direct contact with the bed sheets and pillows. This raised hygiene concerns, especially during these times when cleanliness is paramount. Additionally, the duvet was tucked excessively at the bottom of the bed, exposing the sheets more than usual at the top, disrupting the usual comfort and aesthetic of Marriott beds.As a field engineer who frequently stays in hotels for work, and as a Titanium Elite member, the standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in room preparation are critical for a comfortable and worry-free stay. The experiences in both rooms fell short of the Marriott standard and the general expectations for hotel accommodations. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve future guest experiences.

Great experience! Very nice Townplace Suites! Housekeeping is doing an exceptional job. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and I really enjoyed the Spirit of the lady helping with breakfast. Pet friendly.

The hotel is new, as others have said. The staff were pleasant, but they are not being trained or communicated with well. We were there for the solar eclipse and asked for a late check-out (1:00 PM rather than the standard 12:00.) The person behind the desk froze like we were asking for our room to be free. The hotel has a bar, but the bartender apparently has variability in when she works. She did not show up Friday night and the front desk person didn't know until we asked why the bar was not open. They had to call the bartender. It also seems that she doesn't work weekends either. One of the two elevators was down for service. The outdoor furniture was extremely dirty. I understand that it is Midland, but either maintain it or don't have it. At breakfast they ran out of coffee twice. I managed to get 1/2 cup total. The egg things seemed to be out of a freezer box from Walmart, but the biscuits are great. When we looked at our receipt once we got home, we had a surprise $7.00 parking charge. This was not a good showing for a Marriott system hotel and the surprise $7.00 parking charge in Midland, Texas (where there is definitely NOT a premium on real estate) was irritating.

We stayed at this hotel because in the reviews it appeared that it was very new, I did not confirm that it did not have a pool which I needed for the family. The reception staff was not courteous, the manager had a dog while she attended us, I had never seen anything like it. the bar will be closed all weekend. The cleaning of the room was excellent, as was the lady who attended us at breakfast. the next night we met the person at the reception again and not even a greeting, they should give him courtesy classes.

We traveled to Midland from El Paso for a weekend football tournament and stayed here. The hotel was nice and clean and more than enough space for us. We were greeted by the front desk agent Allison who was more than welcoming and accommodating. She was never once overwhelmed by our big group instead she was patient and informative. Gave us ideas on where to take the kids to enjoy our time here and let them run out some energy. We appreciate her responsiveness and her great energy. Thank you Allison! We will be back.

Be warned if you stay at this hotel and you are located on the first floor you will hear the bar all night until 2 AM. Loud obnoxious over served guests were screaming until 2 AM on a Monday night. Upon calling and requesting them to control their guests they claimed they have tried but they can't control how they act. Next morning I asked for a new room and they were out of rooms. I asked to cancel and I will book a new hotel which would cost me more booking last minute and they said they cant give a refund. Great strategy to not offer a refund, points, or anything at all so now they'll receive a terrible honest reviews. It is a matter of time until these reviews will begin to impact your business glad we made $30-$50 serving a couple at the bar all night. Lost my business for good.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They really made the stay enjoyable. The only reasons I could not give it 5 stars are pretty minor; both shampoo and conditioner dispensers in room were completely empty, dried blood was on the comforter and the coffee maker was extremely dirty. I was only there one night so I provided feedback in the morning upon checkout. Staff was very apologetic and would address immediately, so 5 stars on service!

I have been to this location 7+ times and this most recent experience was fantastic!!!!! After a long 12 hours on the road I was met by Samantha who was so patient kind and accommodating. She checked me in swiftly knowing how exhausted I was from the road. Samantha was professional and kind. I slept well the room was clean and comfy. Jen in guest services was professional extremely kind and a breath of fresh air honestly, she's a fantastic human. The house keeping staff is second to NONE!! They not only stay later to accommodate late check out they keep the rooms immaculate!!!! If your looking for a delightful stress free stay this location is where you wanna be. The entire staff is SUPREME!!!

Such a shame this hotel doesn't focus on quality front desk staff. It's a beautiful property - pretty new. Well-kept and clean. Front desk person was lazy, rude and really could care less if you stay here or not. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I was never acknowledged as so. I asked if I would be credited with my bonus points - she said "I have no idea, that's not something I'm responsible for." I asked about my complimentary water. She said - "I'm not sure if we have any," I insisted, so she found some. I requested a room on the 4th floor. She told me they were almost completely booked, and only had a quiet room on the second floor. It's 10:30 pm right now, and the hotel parking lot is 2/3 EMPTY. This is a smoke-free hotel, but my room reeked of cigarette smoke. She handed me a bottle to go and spray the room myself. Later, I couldn't get the hotel wifi to work. She said, "I don't know how it works, I don't have WiFi while I'm working here." I asked about the premium wifi (for gold elite members). She wrote something on a sticky note and handed it to me and said "try this." It read - "cnn.com". I would not stay here again; nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Customer service matters. This hotel is a very poor reflection on the Marriott brand.

Clean rooms nice kitchen amenities like for real everything u need just bring groceries. Bars a must its closed on Sat and Sunday night. The barbeque area is nice and plenty of tables. They don’t care about Bonvoy elite members (I’m Ambassador). I’m trying to change my reservation because I missed my flight and they won’t accommodate me. Manager says I will have to pay for tonight even though I won’t be there. This is the worst customer service I’ve received at any Marriott property. If you’re an elite member take your business elsewhere because they don’t care!
