Extremely high priced on what I needed but they support out vets so I shop there instead of with the competition

Looking for a second peice of wood to mach the original I found employees told me they have 6 in stock no one knows where at. They continued to call lumber associates to the isle after waiting around 45 minutes asking multiple employees for help no one showed up from the lumber department to actually know what there talking ab/Looking for. Very dis satisfied. I returned all my items from my cart and decided I'll take my buissines elsewhere.

On 5/10/24, at 11:06am, (look it up on your video) I was at Lowes to buy some nuts and bolts in packages and two individual bolts and the nuts that went with them. The bolts were $.38 apiece and the nuts were$.32 each. The clerk wanted me to look through a book to see exactly what kind of bolts and nuts they were. I told her no, I didn't want to do that. She insisted, so I asked to talk to a supervisor. She didn't call for one, and kept insisting I look through the book. I kept saying I didn't want to look through a book with thousands of different kinds. When a supervisor eventually came over, the clerk said in a loud voice that I didn't have to be so rude. The supervisor heard her say that, and immediately took her side, without even talking to me. She then loudly said the clerk didn't have to put up with my rudeness. I wasn't rude. I just didn't want to spend the time looking through a whole book. So I finally just dropped the bolts, paid for the other items and left.
I've spent $6000 or $8000 at Lowes in the past few years in a home remodeling project. I have about $2000 worth of projects to do, and $20,000 or $30,000 worth at my mother's house in Kerrville, TX. But I won't be buying from Lowes. They apparently are so busy, they don't care about my business.
Other hardware stores take the customers word as to the cost, or provide a bag or printed paper and pens to write down exactly what the item is, and the price. So it isn't just the rude staff, it is the management who can't find a better way to sell nuts and bolts.
To management, I would ask, is $1.40 worth of nuts and bolts worth loosing $30,000?

One of the worst Lowe's l have ever dealt with in the state. Customer service sucks to high heaven. And when you call you can get no help. Off to Home Depot l go. Sucks l had to even leave 1star.
