Wow! The furniture is extremely nice, the gentleman that helped us was great, not pushy at all and was very knowledgeable about the furniture, options, prices and all around nice to deal with. We plan to make a purchase and will update this review.

We recently purchased two recliners and a couch from the La-Z-Boy store in Midland, Tx. The salesman assured us that all of their was made in America at their factory. We paid in advance and waited several weeks for the furniture to be delivered. One of the recliners was rickety and uncomfortable (still is). After having it several months we saw the tag that said it was made for La-Z-Boy by a factory in Mexico. I called the store, and they referred me to customer service in Dallas. I called and I have never dealt with such a rude person. She interrupted, raised her voice, and refused to admit any wrong doing. She said the papers I signed showed that their furniture is also made in other countries. She finally screamed that they would pick it up, check it out, and if it was built to La-Z-Boy specs it was coming "right back to you."We arranged a pickup and later cancelled as the mental anguish was taking its toll on us. We are in our 70's. All in all their furniture is way overpriced and not the quality it once was. BUYER BEWARE!

Where do I start? The service definitely overshadows the product. My parents were told while buying, that the prior furniture would be hauled off. Upon arrival (after four months) asked the drivers, the drivers stated “Oh we don’t haul off furniture”. My mom stated, “Stevie advised us you would haul the old furniture off”, to which the driver said, “Well yeah, that’s how they get you to buy it.” My mom said, “I guess we need to call Stevie?” & the driver said, “You can call all you want, we aren’t hauling it off.” They were incredibly rude, & of course when we called to ask, Stevie backpedaled & said they don’t haul it off. Not only were they lied to & treated rudely, the drivers snapped multiple limbs off our pine trees & did not say a word. It was only when we were taking the trash (they did not take) to our dumpster we noticed multiple limbs snapped (pictures attached). I’m advising everyone do not buy from this location, & if you do make sure you get written statements & take pictures.

I am very dissatisfied with this with this chair and the customer service has been terrible. The cushion is not level and very uncomfortable.. I tried to get someone from the store to look at it but they would only offer to send it back to Dallas for repair. They kept three weeks and charged me $237. I can’t tell if they did anything different.

Ordered couch and love seat in January with "target date" of June, but the contract says that it could take up to 42 weeks. The date slipped to August and now early November, which is at 40 weeks. However, they say that the 42 weeks is not an estimate and not an actual commitment on their part. In fact, the store claims that La-Z-Boy has absolutely NO commitment on their part at all. They have our money and may... or may not... deliver furniture whenever they get around to it. They won't even promise a year or two years. We just have to wait as long as they feel like stringing it out. I will NEVER walk in to a LZB again, and I suggest that you avoid the store as well. 0 stars

I have now waited over a YEAR for a couch we ordered last April! They keep saying sorry it's delayed, sorry the warehouse with those exact couch parts had a fire (right...), and now I'm being told they just can't get any updated information on it! Their sales receipt said it would be delivered after 8 months so this is definitely a breech of their contract and all they say is they can take off the $125 delivery fee. Really. I'm going on 13 months waiting and it's just "out of their hands"! Do not buy from them! Horrible customer service! Horrible delivery times!

Great customer service and good selection of furniture. I was shopping for a Father's Day gift for my dad. I found the perfect recliner for him. I was lucky, because they had the recliner I'm stock. If they didn't have, their order cutoff is Tuesday for arrival in Midland the following Friday/Saturday. The associate explained their warranty plans for the mechanics and fabrics. I'll definitely return to this store to buy more furniture. Honest and no pushy sales personnel

Furniture is great and holds up to pets and is sturdy. Customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I are returning customers at the Midland Tx location

I have never felt so cheated... Do not do business with Steve Hollowell or this store.My wife and I were shopping for a chair to put in our Nursery. We're expecting a little girl in about 3 weeks now. Back in November we decided to go to La-Z Boy for a nice rocker. We found one we liked but did not want to pay an extra hundred bucks for the Guardian Fabric Treatment. But as a fellow reviewer so coincidentally noted, the salesman pitched the same scam... Ordering a chair without the Guardian Fabric Treatment will take over 24 weeks, but miraculously they had our chair (W. the GF Treatment) in stock in Dallas or Houston (One of the two) and promised it would be here in 2 weeks. So we bit the bullet and paid for the chair with the treatment, "IN STOCK". Long and behold, 3 weeks later I call to follow up on my order. Store Manager advises me the chair is not due to arrive until MARCH and that there was NEVER a stock (at that time of purchase) in some other store/warehouse...1- I blame Management. Reading the reviews this isn't the first time it has happened and from different sales people; that means it's a condoned and trained tactic. POOR Management is the only reason they would promote or allow this kind of conniving sales tactic. I've purchased many a vehicles, furniture, etc.. and NEVER have I ever been lied to and intentionally deceived in such a way.2- I blame Steve Hollowell to have engaged in this poor sales tactic and pray on customers and expecting parents - knowingly took advantage of our concern in lead time.I will never, ever, recommend this place. I have lost 3 weeks of waiting, that could've went to an HONEST salesperson and a HONEST furniture establishment for our Nursery. Cant put into words our disappointment...Still waiting on my refund.

No rating because the furniture promised is not here. I bought a recliner and couch on 11/7 and was instructed that the recliner would be in the following weekend. It is now 12/3 and the recliner and couch are not here. This store continues to promise the recliner weekly and the couch around 12/17, maybe. Do not buy from here. I do not even know if I will get my furniture.
