We scheduled pickup for a morning as our flight wasn't landing until midnight and we didn't think they would be open. Employees were still around after midnight and helped us to get our reservation early instead of coming back. Wish every Hertz experience went this smooth.

Always a wait even though you book a month in advance and have a reservation. This picture is what I see every month I come to Midland. I am presidents circle and this is the worst location I have been to with Hertz .

The guy who helped me and my girlfriend get a car was so helpful and did everything he could to make sure we got what we needed. I didn't get his name but he was a blessing after alot of stressful traveling.

The employee their named Destiny promised that she would swap out my existing rental vehicle which reeked of smoke for a truck. Upon arriving the manager there also said that they had a small truck they would give me. Five minutes later, they retracted this statement and said they wouldn’t be able to assist me. Terrible customer service. Don’t promise a customer or something, then failed to deliver.

i totally get the frustration of waiting for cars but the front desk ladies deal with it all it’s really a lack of having enough vehicles and when vehicles return and then they still have the reservation line open. but the desk ladies are absolutely wonderful and always try there best to make the customer happy

I booked a car with Hertz through Expedia before I looked at reviews on google. Once I looked at reviews I became worried I would be waiting on a car forever, if I got a car at all. My pick-up time for a car was 7:30PM, so I felt confident I would get a car, but as expected when I got to the counter several people were already being turned away because Hertz did not have any cars left. Most people just left and went to Avis next door which seems to have better service and plenty of vehicles to rent. The woman at the front helping me was very kind and seemed just horribly tired of her job having to turn people away because of Hertz mismanagement at this location. I felt badly for her. I said I would just take any car that came in dirty. Since it was already so late at night I did not have high hopes I would be getting a car and at least 5 people were ahead of me waiting for a car as well. At first she said they were cleaning them to the lady in front of me, but once I asked questions I got to the bottom of it and it seemed there were actually no cars at all in the lot and the people scheduled to return them had not returned. This is a consistent problem at this location as you can tell by reviews because people that rent from Hertz will just drive the car back to the city they flew in from and pay the extra fee. Seems Hertz is fine with that since they are getting more money, but they are screwing over other customers and their poor employees at the front desk that are shaking with anxiety from getting yelled at all day. They don't care at all as you can tell from their automated responses to reviews... but all of this to say the extremely nice woman helping me at the front got me a car after an hour of waiting. The car was relatively clean from the people that last rented and only had 13,000 miles on it. Returning the car was very easy and I did not get any weird extra charges. I might would try renting from them again, but I would definitely not expect a flawless experience.

Extremely disappointed and inconvenienced. I traveled two weeks back to back to Odessa; each time I waited over an hour to get my reserved vehicle. On my second visit I waited 2hrs to get a vehicle I reserved. That led to a domino affect with me starting my business week visit. How do you not have vehicles ready when they have visibility to their incoming customers. Seems to me they lack supervision or leadership at this location.

Not a great experience. Husband had a reservation and it says it's open til midnight but no one at the counter and over 15 people waiting with no one acknowledging anyone. (He got there about 11) Only phone number goes to an automated system. No idea why the breakdown in communication here. Things happen but it's just crazy to think you've done all the paperwork and made the reservation and nope no one working.

I have rented here 3 times in the past 12 months. Every time I have had issues with getting a car. The first time I waited 2 hours for a car, the second time I had a flight delayed by 10 minutes and they closed, I had to Uber to a hotel and go back in the morning for a car. This third time I waited over an hour for them to get me a car. All of the other car rental places didn’t have customers waiting.

If i could give 0 starts I would worst service, waited for 2hrs to get my car rental along with 20 other people I had made my reservation ahead of time my rental should have been ready by when i got there and not have to wait 2hr, other people there were syaing that it is always like that so if you rent at this airport with hertz expect that long wait

I rented a car for my wife and no one was in line and they are making her wait for no reason and asking why she has an attitude. I’m going to go back up there when she leaves and deal with them myself. As no one should be treated this way. I understand the rules that the renter must have the same credit card name but I’m not complaining about that. Im just super irritated that they are treated her this way. I will never rent from them again!!!! Just a bunch jerks!!!!

Have a reservation made two month ago, and a president’s circle member, staff declined my reservation claiming no car available. The reservation system and membership status mean nothing to them. Even ask me to cancel my own reservation.

Worst experience with a Hertz location ever. Sunday opens at noon. Can’t go directly to rental car. Employee shows up late at counter, 12:30. Line of people with reservations for noon still waiting. Finally got my car, it was hastily wiped off, meaning not washed and still dirty.

This is the model for HERTZ RENTAL Car. Less than 30 seconds to get my rental. The vehicle far exceeded my expectations. Turn in was very easy and I had my receipt in my mailbox in less then an hour. Turning was 10 seconds. Staff was great!

Zero or negative stars…Sunday they don’t open until 12:00 but it’s 12:30 and not a single car has been rented out because their employees couldn’t bother to show up
