The girls who work here are so rude and snappy with everyone I even seen them being snappy to those who are there helping them, regardless of the reason they are there shouldn't determine the way you treat them.

The girls working the donations for today are very unpleasant. They are too busy talking to each other and not doing their job!I will donate to Goodwill from now on.

Mary at helping hands went above and beyond trying to help with a check I’d received from one of my tenants that the bank was giving me problems with. I greatly appreciate all of Mary’s help

If I could give zero starts i would the lady is so rude and just told me shes not even gonna try and help me with Financial assistance and hung up on my face so if you’re looking for help do not call this organization they are not gonna help you unless the lady feel sympathy for you but obviously she don’t like Spanish people

They jacked their prices way up in past year. Use to buy books in a paper sack for 2 or 3 dollars. Now they want a dollar for hardback and 50 cents for paperbacks and they are over supplied. Way to go. Lol

I loved this place, could find great things and at one time it was very reasonable. Here lately it's like shopping at Good Will. We donate a lot of money monthly and instead of having Garage Sales, we donate it to Helping Hands.(and it's not junk) Last time I was in there I wanted a small angel figurine, usually they are a dollar. They wanted 3 dollars for it so I had to leave it. Because I had other stuff and didnt have enough cash on me. Very disappointed. I guess I will have to stick to garage sales and start donating to texas size garage sale. If this is what it has become.

One ov the last true thrift stores left.Just the books are an all day adventure ,art work and frames is well worth a gander.I'm so thankful they are still there.Every thing you buy goes right back into the community. There's literally something for everyone. Worth the adventure to find treasure.

Kind of disappointed on how much they charge for school clothes. I have been having a hard time finding uniforms for my daughter and nephew and I found pants and the sign had how much it was for kid clothing when I went to pay he wanted to charge $5 for each pants. It wasn't super expensive but ended up leaving everything I got since it was more than what I expected to use at a second hand store.
