This place is perfect. I have used this place off and on for over 10 years now. I was happy when Homer reopened back up a few years ago. I always appreciate the personal care my dog gets from Homer. He is a great guy and does a really great job at taking care of the animals that he looks after there. Will use this place as long as I have pets.

We love this place for our girl Putty. We rescued her and she doesn’t do well with new people or other dogs. Homer took great care of her, and kept us posted on how she was doing, which eased our anxiety about leaving her for the first time. Definitely recommend.

Love this place! I was so happy to know Homer had opened back up. Used him in the past several times and back then our two dogs loved staying there. Now my only dog is so spoiled that Homer takes extra care of her. I will always use this place as long as it is open. The rooms are clean and each room has its own bed and television. The larger rooms even have their own yard for the dogs to go out when needed through the doggy door. I highly recommend this place!

Homer took exceptional care of our pups. I recommend Happy Paws anytime you can’t take your friends with you.

Homer took great care of Dani and Diesel! I loved that they had their own private yard to hang out in. ❤️

This pet motel has been renovated and is VERY nice and clean. The staff are VERY attentive and always provide the best care. If you need to leave your pets for a few days, this is the place.

This place should be shut down. When you walk in, the walls are falling apart, looks like there is water and insect damage, the smell is terrible, and it is the dirtiest/nastiest place I've ever been! I would have given zero stars above but it wouldn't let me post a rating without giving at least one star. I have taken my dogs there years ago, and it was good. Just like the pictures on their website. Now, however, it looks nothing like that! They advertise tv, bed, and climate control in the rooms, BUT they do not turn on the tv's for the dogs, the beds are filthy, and the "doggy door" didn't have a flap. They might as well have just put my dogs outside the whole time. I had no other choice but to leave my dogs there, even though I knew it was bad. When I picked them up, they both had fleas and ticks, feces dried to their bottoms, and one had vomiting and diarrhea. Neither of them were able to eat or rest for several days after getting home. I had to take the one dog to the vet for the vomiting and diarrhea. I had to get medication also for fleas and ticks. I had to pay before they would allow me to get my dogs, or I wouldn't have paid. I will be reporting this business, and hopefully they will be shut down.

This place looks ok from the website pictures they have posted on-line. After I read some of the good reviews, I thought this would be a good place to keep my dogs for the weekend. I WAS SOOO WRONG! When I went to drop my dogs off there was feces, fresh and old, in the front room, down the hallways, and even in the area outside their kennels. It looked like the place had never been cleaned. Upon entering the front door I was overwhelmed by the smell of bleach and animal urine/poop. I could barely breathe. As I walked down the hallway to the kennel, there were old feces lining the carpet area, as if they had just been scooted over to make a path to the kennel areas. Upon entering my dogs kennel the room was nice, but there wasn't a bed or water bowl and then I glanced into the area where my dogs were supposed to get time outside if they wanted it and there were still feces from the previous occupant and possibly the one occupant before that in the yard. I sadly left my dogs there then realized halfway down the road that I could not leave them there and needed to find better place to keep them or cancel my trip. I picked them up a few hours later and could hear them barking from the road and then when I went into their room there were still the feces from the previous occupant and the dogs room still had no water or bed. I was told that this place had been in business for over 16 years! I was outraged. Upon contacting the City of Midland Animal services I was told that the reason they cannot take action on this establishment is that they are outside the city limits and that the Midland County Sheriff's department would need to be called. My dogs are my kids and if this were a daycare for humans this place would have been closed down a long time ago. Do not leave your animals here.
