Very unprofessional and rude to my mother in law, commented on her jewelry stating it was basically worthless. She went elsewhere and got $2500 for it. Don't waste your time with incompetence.

I’m not sure why I went back other than being convenient (closer to where I live).because all the times I’ve been here they are very rude. They have never fixed my jewelry claiming it’s not worth fixing. I’ve taken 7 watches to get batteries replaced and it was fine. This time I decided to replace my own watch battery and then cldnt get back on. I did bend it trying to get it on but he did not need to give me the third decree and treat a 61 yr old woman like a 5 yr old. I definitely will not be going back!!!

They degraded my rings I brought in to sell; I was hesitant to leave them with the owner/ old, outdated jewelry shop & the couple that run it won’t be around long anyway!

If you’re looking for honest, no bull jewelers, here’s your place. I enjoy knowing that I will always be talking with the same couple and will get quality service each and EVERY visit. I realize if I drop something off for repair or sizing that my piece isn’t the only one Ray is working on but when he does work on it, all of his attention goes into it. I currently have one ring in his shop and I’m dropping off my husband’s ring for sizing up, later today. They were very kind to let me borrow the ring sizing plastic rings to determine the exact size needed to size up to. My guess is ZALES wouldn’t offer to do that.

I had a diamond band I wanted to sell. I had bought it from Jared in El Paso May 31st of this year. I paid for a lifetime plan that was supposed to include resizing. However they wouldn’t honor it (even with receipt) because they couldn’t find me in their computer system. Ray was very honest about my ring and what he could offer me for it & why. He gave me suggestions on what to do with the ring in the alternative so that I get the best deal for me out of the situation. He treated me much better than Occasions did yesterday. I think I just might have to talk to Ray again the next time I’m interested in buying diamonds.

My experience happened early summer. I dropped off a bracelet on a Monday and was told It would be ready by Wednesday, 3 weeks later I went to picked it up because: “it wasn’t ready, he forgot, he was out of town” excuse after excuse. Anyways, when I got there the lady showed it to me and it looked fine from far away I trusted them the bracelet was fixed. A few weeks later when I was going to wear my bracelet I realized it wasn’t fixed, totally my fault for not checking closely right then, lesson learned!!..Hope they enjoyed the $ I was charged. I just decided I didn’t want to deal with them anymore and took it to Occasions Fine Jewelry they fixed it for me really fast, with better customer service and for less amount of money!!
