“This place is one of a kind. Not sure what to do with the building materials leftover from your renovation? Give these folks a call. First of all, everyone who works here is really friendly and helpful. If you forget your tape measure, they’ll lend you theirs. If you need help loading something heavy in your car, they’ll help you load it. They also have a big box truck that they use to pickup donated items from those who call in and schedule pickup. This store sells all home building materials that are donated, sometimes by individuals, sometimes by companies offloading inventory for the tax write off, and sometimes by remodeling companies who have installed newer materials into homes in the area. So you never know what your going to find. Lots of lightly used and sometimes new materials.Given that they’re always getting donations, their inventory is alway rotating. They also have certain items that they keep on hand and in stock such as flooring, rugs, doors, paint and painting supplies, windows, plumbing parts, hardware, couches, chairs of all sorts, assorted tile, cabinet hardware, windows, trim, cabinets and knobs, toilets, bed frames, dressers, faucets, lighting, sinks, wall art, etc etc you get the idea. Sometimes they even have new appliances like ovens and ranges.I honestly hesitate to leave a review because this is my local honey hole but it’s just too great not to share. When you come in you just might find that piece of one of a kind furniture that you’d been looking for. Or that exterior door that is the right size to replace your old and weathered door. Or your next project. I have found tons of tools, parts, and building materials here to use on a lot of my remodel and renovation projects. I highly recommend a visit.”

“They saved Patiences the dog who was homeless and lived on a street corner for almost a year. I prayed that God give her a spot... my wish for a miracle for Xmas was granted. If you can't help as a volunteer, please consider making a donation so, that these pets continue to get the awesome help they need. This is a wonderful home for dogs and cats so much donation and love is there.”

“Started taking my child here for over a year. Have participated in many Parent Tot classes. It can be difficult to get scheduled since it fills fast but they let you know in advance when they open the classes. My wife uses the gym and pool herself and loves it.Most of the staff are high schoolers teaching, but they are all great with kids and are good at instructing. The Tot Gym is a great place to let you kid adventure in a safe place and learn how to deal with obstacles.”

“Thank you Misty for taking the time to show us around and even educate us on the native plants, bees, and animals. We loved our little visit so much. We will be back just because of you. The nature center is kid friendly, clean, educating, and has so much more than just trails! Can’t wait to come back.”
