I work as an oilfield truck driver for a third party with a Chevron contract. Seems to me all Chevron cares about is their profits. They keep hiring third parties that contract immigrants and illegals who are happy with half the pay. So hat happens? Real hardworking Americans get thrown by the wayside and end up having to quit or find another job because the job doesn't pay good anymore. Chevron used to provide a 40 hour guarantee. Not anymore. Whoever is in charge could care less about American workers.

Multibillion dollar profits and on thanksgiving a lot of people HAVE to work on their drilling rigs as contractors (truck drivers,rustabout,hotshots, etc) and Chevron obviously trying to save a dollar here and a dollar there they dont have the decency to at least offer a miserable plate of food to any one thats not a direct Chevron employee ?
