Josh was able to come out within 2 hrs of us calling for a late ac unit that shut off. Very professional, on time and got right down to it. Price was as quoted. 10/10 will use this company again!

My technician was amazing, Sweet , fast and he definitely knew what he was doing. Not to put HVAC EXPERTS down,but HVAC EXPERTS didn’t wire my unit right when came to try to turn on my heater it didn’t work from them wiring it wrong and not replacing parts. They charged me and arm and a leg , but Thank God for Billy black HVAC for fixing another company’s mistake.Thank you Billy black HVAC for an amazing job! I will use you for all future maintenance.

Josh Madrid, the technician, couldn’t have been more courteous and professional. The rating is based on the excessive cost of using Billy Black HVAC. I was told upfront of the service call fee, but was shocked that an additional diagnostic fee was charged. Total bill for replacing two motors that were under warranty was $650.00. It also took from Monday through Saturday to get this accomplished. Not what I would call a good experience. I won’t use this company again.Service: A/C system repair

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. They first installed our ac unit backwards so it was blowing air out of the intake. Then waited a week to even get back to us to fix their mess up; meanwhile it’s in the 100s. Before our job was complete, they billed me. When I would not pay them until my AC/heater worked; Billy Black had their accounting lady call to argue with me, the customer! All while the owner was yelling from down the hall, which I could hear. I have never been spoken to like I was or done business with such a horribly unprofessional group of individuals. I would steer very clear of this company and work with them at your own risk!

My AC broke in the middle of the night and the high today is going to be 104°, so I needed help ASAP. Called Billy Black and they gave me an appointment time of 1:30, but the technicians were able to get to me an hour early.They were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient, going above and beyond to make sure that everything was working properly. I will be recommending them to anyone in the area who has HVAC needs. 10/10

UPDATE: we were contacted by Brianna. Our call was mixed up with another customer who had called to cancel. They apologized and went above and beyond to make things right. Thank you. The service technician was top notch, even asking for a broom so he could sweep up the dirt he tracked in. My rating bumped up to 4 stars….didn’t get that last star because there is room for improvement on the scheduling side maybe to avoid another mix up.During one of Midlands hottest weekends, our AC stopped working. My husband called Thursday to set up service for Friday. I called Friday morning to verify the time. The dispatcher said she would add my number so I could also know when they were coming. I took time off work to be home. 8:00 pm Friday they are a no call, no show. I called and was told “the wife called and cancelled the service call”; they could not do anything that night. Not a good first impression, not likely to get the opportunity to make a second.

They came out to our house 3 times , first time they said it was the condenser fan motor $597 so we paid that, we call a few days later because the ac still isn’t working $375 for R410 so we paid that, we call a few days later because the ac still wasn’t working they say it’s going to be $3,000 for a new coil or we could buy a new system for $8,000. Why they had us invest $972 in the old system before telling us we need a new one I’m not sure , I don’t know if they just didn’t know what they were doing or if they just wanted to milk the job for all it was worth , either way I was extremely disappointed with the results of the services I got from this company. Save your money and call a professional who will actually diagnose the problem the first time around instead of having you spend hundreds of dollars doing guess work.Service: HVAC system maintenance

Awesome company! After 7 days of not having AC, with 4 attempts by my landlord's HVAC people to fix it, I hired Billy Black HVAC to do it myself. 15 minutes of troubleshooting and replacing a bad capacitor, and my apartment is no longer the ambient temperature of West Texas in June.Service: A/C system repair

Based on recommendations found online, I gave Billy Black HVAC a call at noon on 5-3-23. Explained to the nice lady on the phone that our A/C had gone out the previous night. She said a tech would be at our house in about 1 hour! Sure enough, right on time, Adam showed up. In less than 45 minutes he had diagnosed the problem (2 capacitors and a contactor), installed the new parts, and we were back in business. In the future, I will call Billy Black HVAC for any A/C repair or system upgrade. HIGHLY recommended!Service: A/C system repair

I strongly recommend this company! We thought we had a serious issue with our AC not cooling down our house but the technician showed up and quickly fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes and I immediately felt the difference in our home. I just had to have an HVAC system replaced in one of my rental houses & it was my first time using Billy Black HVAC. Jake came out initially & looked over the current HVAC system then sent a detailed & thorough estimate for replacing the system. He also answered my calls when I had specific questions & was able to set up the installation within just a few days.Isaac was the main Technician who came & installed the new unit & removed the old one. The entire experience was quick, professional & very reasonable considering how costly replacing an entire HVAC unit can be. He not only answered all myQuestions but also went over the warrantee & guarantee with me, as well as assured me that the company sends in all necessary paperwork that is needed to ensure the warrantee is filed correctly with the manufacturer.This may have been my first time using Billy Black HVAC services but it will definitely not be my last. Excellent customer service over the phone. I didn’t get to use them, but they were very helpful. I called needing a part. The lady over the phone called the warehouse to see if they had it, in which they did not. The part needed was a manufacture issue. I respect that they didn’t waste my time and money for a service fee and waste their time. I’ll definitely call them again when needed.
