I don't understand the negative reviews, they literally offer everything they are suppose to. It seems like the funding for this branch isn't as plentiful as others when comparing infrastructure.. but that's not their fault. The people at this location have been serving me since 2012 and it's nice seeing their friendly faces when I'm in town.”

“USPS has been around a long time. To say we don't need them would be out of place. I have used the usps for many years with good and bad experiences. If you have patience and determination, you can get through anything that would lead you through the process of using the usps. Everyone location has pros and cons. I would recommend slowing down and taking a slow pace to make sure you have the patience needed. Stay calm.”

“This post office is one of the best I've gone to. They're not over the top friendly but they try to get you in and out. I can't ask for more than that. It's so hidden I didn't know it existed for years living a few miles from it. I left my notebook there once early in the morning and when I realized it late afternoon I went back the next day and it was sitting right where I left it. If you can find them, give them a shot.”

“It's a post office. What sets it apart is the history behind it. Clearly the road in front of it was used as a practice bombing range for bombers in WWII and beyond. Come see the history. Come feel the history as your spine is slammed against the roof of your car when you drive over a bomb crater. Come test the shocks in your car, truck, off road vehicle, or tank. Regardless of what you drive, your shocks are going to be ruined.”

“I just want to say thank you to the lady that works here.I had a package stating it was delivered however I never received anything that day. 6 days passed and my husband finally went down to the post office to look if they had it in the back.The lady did not have it but did write our numbers down in case she was able to find it.I get a call this morning and she confirmed the box has been delivered to the wrong address. She is going to try to get the box back however she will call me same time tomorrow to confirm.I know accidents happen but i'm very happy with the customer service that was provided to me. She made it seem like she really cared about my lost package.”

“Came in on a Monday, during late December, an hour before they close. First of all, don’t do what I did. You want to get here early because the parking situation is not so great. There’s maybe 10 spots, and they’re all going to be filled up when you arrive. You have no choice but to sit in the center aisle and wait for someone to come out so you can park. After circling the street a couple of times I did finally manage to get a parking space.That was the only bad part of the experience. I got inside and I see 3 postal workers behind the counters working fast. The line was long enough that when I entered the front door, I was at the end of the line. But only 7 minutes later, I was saying hello to a friendly and polite post woman behind the counter who scanned my packages and I was on my way. She even thanked* me for visiting. I know it’s just basic customer service, but it was really nice, she had a genuine smile too not one of those fake smiles, and I liked that a lot. Enough that it reminded me to leave a nice review.Even the customers inside were so very kind and considerate, some complete strangers making friendly small talk, and others enjoying the view from the windows as we all patiently waited together in line. Even in the parking lot, it was like a system of kindness had already formed of friendly nods and waves, and those who were waiting longer got to park next in order of fairness. I know it sounds silly but even in the parking lot chaos everyone kept their cool and nobody got mad or frustrated with each other. The most noise that happened was me when I was fumbling with my keys in the parking lot and accidentally hit the alarm button. (Oops)Coming from someone who used to live in Dallas County, this post office deserves each of these 5 stars. Forney USPS, you are doing great, and make me proud to have moved here.”

“I usually dread walking into any Postal office because I never know what to expect as far as customer service but I was amazed at how friendly and helpful they were from the moment I walked in. Jacquala was very helpful in answering my questions and even helped me decide which shipping service to pick. I also admired how friendly and talkative she was towards other customers. “I always get what I need at Balch Springs PO.You would think the parking spots are not enuf BUT the purpose is served b/c when your svcs are met, get outside everybody's gone. The postal workers are about business, and they are courteous and friendly.”
