I asked my insurance blue cross blue shield to send me a list of in network providers Catherine Hall was on the list, I made an appointment even looked on the myeyedr website and it says accepts all insurances. Four days before my appointment their secretary cancels my appointment and says Catherine is not in network, I asked why she is on her list she said I would have to ask corporates but did not have the number. If you can't trust them to keep those records updated I would not trust them with my eyes!

I have spoken with the Belt Line staff and thought they were extremely kind so I figured this office would be as well. I was wrong. Vanessa or Veronica (can’t remember the name of the girl who was so rude. like she doesn’t get paid to answer patient questions) was extremely unreliable and flat out rude. I had questions about why my insurance discount card wouldn’t work with this office since it was working for the BeltLine one and this uneducated lady did not know, and refused to help by reaching out to my membership discount insurance and having them verify that I could use it at this office. She interrupted me various times throughout the phone and hung up mid sentence. What an embarrassment to this office and company.

Staff was nice but my appointment was at 8:40am and I am just now leaving at 10:04am. They over booked so I spent more than half my time just waiting.

The place is kinda hidden from street view as your driving on town east, it is a high end looking place, the people there are friendly and knowledgeable, lots of options when it comes to glasses, my eye dr office on beltline closed so this will be my new office for sure ?

This review is based on services & doesn’t reflect the professionalism of the optometrist or staff assisting with my exam. I was unaware of the $90 i had to pay out of pocket because they (unbeknownst to me until after the fact) took retinal photos & charged me for a “new spherical fit”. my insurance didn’t cover those service but that was never explained to me before they were done. i was hit with $90 out of pocket charge for an exam that i assumed would cost me $0. I tried them because of the high reviews but i won’t be coming back in the future due to the unexpected bill.

I sure wish I could rate this location as a zero. So, 1 star it is. This place took over for Dr. Fain and Dr. Hall which I had seen for years. UNBELIEVABLE service. Forced to make an appointment online (fine, okay), and selected the time and date.Showed up and they told me that I missed my grace period (appointment was for 11, but they had 10:40) and that I would need to reschedule. "threw a small fit since I took off work and had an email confirmation for 11am" and they said, the doctor will "work you in, but there is a family ahead of you so be prepared to wait awhile". WHY? I have an appointment. Here's the confirmation. Whatever. Completely done with this place, but needed to let you know I would NOT BOTHER. Staff is rude too.

I called to book an appointment for me and my spouse. Talked to Valerie on the phone. She is terrible. She should be away from customer service. Sounded unhappy, very robotic, mean, zero compassion & patience.We had an excellent first experience last year there.. well it needed one person to make our experience horrible and where you guys lost a new loyal customer after one business.

Can I just say the most wonderful person in the world made my day. Amy at Town East, stands out from the crowd & makes you feel so special. She goes above and beyond to get things in order & makes sure you understand what you will receive. I wouldn't want to work with any other person at this location.

Every since the name change this place gas went backwards as far as customer service etc. They tell u they will call u back and don't. They schedule apps and don't honor them. This 1 lady forgot to give me my prescription before I left and got upset when I called her out on it. I'm here now 3/2/23 and been in this waiting room 30 min wit no 1 checking on me or nun. I have so much more but maybe just maybe.....just had to"sever" ties because they treated me so horrible and didn't wanna hear about it basically. Thanks for having my vision in your hands and fumbling. I appreciate that

When it was Optical Gallery my rating was 5.0, Now that it changed to myeyedr, its 0. Some of the changes I have seen after it became myeyedr.1. If you call, the chances of getting some one on line is 0%.2. If you leave a VM, changes of someone returning you a call is 0%.3. The time it takes to get glasses/lenses is 50% more than it used to.4. Additional charges were added now for lens warranty even if its manufacturing issue like tint peeling of.I still like my Dr and the Staff helping me not the changes that happened after it changed from local family friendly service oriented place to a corporate store.***Update: Your comment says that you reached out to me and left a voice message but I checked my registered phone# and don't see any voice message.

I have been to this clinic for several years now. Dr. Fain and Dr. Hall are both great! Therefore, this review DOES NOT reflect towards them. This review is based on the customer service provided by the staff...specifically the people who answer the phone. I have never had an issue with this clinic until today. The one day that I ask the staff there to do more than the minimum (set an appointment, etc.) it becomes such a hassle, and it is not done in a timely manner. I call to ask them to email my eyeglass prescription. The lady who answered the phone says I should receive it in an hour. An hour to send an email...cool. I understand they maybe busy. An hour passes and nothing. I call again and the gentleman who answers the phone is more helpful and sends me the email in five minutes. However, I am told at the place I am purchasing that it needs to have the doctor's signature. I call again and a lady answers the phone. As I begin to explain my situation, she puts me on hold without even letting me finish my sentence. Really? I have called FAST FOOD restaurants before to place an order and they are MORE POLITE than the lady who cut me off in mid sentence. Dominoes Pizza will even say, "Thanks for calling Dominoes, can you please hold?" I hang up and call again and this time no one answers. Yes, the general manager calls me later, but at this point I am annoyed and over it. I get that they maybe busy, but just like I am having patience and respect towards them then I expect the same. Do not cut me off and just put me on hold as I am still talking. As a customer for several years, you'd expect better service. I will no longer be paying to get treated like this and will take my business elsewhere. I like the doctors but refuse to be treated poorly by the staff.
